Need help scanning my LLY duramax with V8

hey guys, im a newbie to EFI live and I need help learning how to scan. I have a thread over at dieselplace.com explaining my problems with my truck http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/63-...ont-start.html

I was hoping someone could help me with guiding me how to scan my truck and test to see if my crack position sensor it working while cranking the engine over and also if my FICM is working or if its getting fuel pressure while cranking it over.
