Is there a Vortec tuning tutorial?

I went looking for a how-to-tune tutorial in the doc section. I didn't find anything about Vortec's. Is there one? Can the calc.VE approach work on a Vortec?

Suggestions on where to find beginner's tuning info?

im using the calc.ve but i have the 411 swap done. don't think this will work with the black box and not all the pids in calc.ve are the same on the vortec. ill post up the pids list when i get home.

If not all the pids are present (DYNAIRTMP), we can probably maybe make a lookup calc pid that comes close.

these are the pids for 411 with vortec they seem to work

I'm trying the Calc.VE with the 16263494 PCM. (OS: 16265175)
There is no sign of the DYNAIRTMP PID, so I'm looking for an equation to substitute it. The IAT, ECT PIDs are there. Joe I'd like to take you up on your offer. I'm not sure if the same ECT/IAT bias used for the LS1 would work for the Vortec. (Yes, No?)

It is not clear to me if the PID does exist, and I can't see it. Or,... If the PID does not exist for this OS. If EfiLive does not show the PID, does that mean it does not exist, or is not currently supported?

All the other PIDs in the calculation appear to be there. So I'm hopefull that I can make it work.

Follow the link to what Ninety8C5 did, if your tune file has table B4901 then you can do the same thing (but paste your B4901 values into the calc pid).
