Gentlemen, is there a chance that there will be a app for I pad where you can USB your flashscan device to it?
Using my I pad will be much easier than a bulky laptop.
Thanks

Highly doubtful, unless/until you can run Windows XP or Windows 7 on an iPad. We can dream, but Id venture to say a Linux distribution would be more likely and even that is a pipe dream. Have to utilize the BBx capabilities of the V2 and call it a day.
Id love to get log file playback and tune editing on a tablet, but modern tablets are probably out of the question unless they can emulate Windows.
You can run a virtual desktop of Windows using some software and hardware (maybe) from Citrix. Downfall is you'd have to be connected to 3G at least (probably wifi) to make it work.
You mean like this.

Alright Macca----Quit jacking around!!!!!! Is this a screenshot posted onto your IPad or do you have it working. Inquiring minds want to know.

I would like to know if this is serious. Detailed instructions pleaee.
BTW thats is a W7 OS, but is either virtualized or a remote desktop. Have to remember the iPad uses an ARM processor, Windows is currently ONLY built for x86 architecture. Windows 8 will be ARM compatible, but Windows 7 is not.
EFILive is developed in Delphi. The latest Delphi XE2 ships with cross development capabilities that targets OSX and iOS (i.e. iPhone and iPad).
That means it is within the realms of possibility that EFILive will one day (although not any time soon) be available as an app for iPhone and/or iPad.

a windows seven tablet should work. might be hard to tune with touch screen ( havent tried) but with wireless mouse and keyboard would be no diffrent than small netbook.
think about using a 7 inch for dash board in my race car using the scanner and logging every pass and some street:rotflmao:
will efi live run on windows ce they are much cheaper than a windows 7
It's a remote desktop client guys. Still nothing stopping you from running a tiny pc in your car and creating an adhoc network to do this
I use itap rdp. The gestures are very easy to use
