Help with tune?

Hey guys,
I have had EFILive for about a year and a half and have strictly tuned diesel trucks with it. I never really got into tuning the gas cars and trucks. I have a 2001 Sunfire and a 1999 Cavalier that a buddy and I race in the 4cyl class at our local dirt track. I have now seen that there is support for that. I am basically just looking for a little bit more power in the upper RPM range. It is hard to do all the steps like I have been reading about here on the site...because the cars are not street legal. They are both 2.2L w/ manual trans. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated!
