Bricked 2 E37 ECMs?
I've had this problem repeat itself twice now and not quite positive what the issue is.
Taking a standard E37 ECM from MY09, I performed a few cal flashes successfully. When I load up Scan & Tune V8 and perform a full-flash I get the following errors.
$06FF = $checksumfailure
Any restarting of the laptop & Flashscan V2 has only led to additional errors when trying to full flash again.
$0534 = invalid serial number immediately after attempting
if it will proceed to the next step, it will erase and then send a 'no data recieved' error
$0540 = OS mismatch between 12630187 & 0.
Anyone point out why this failed twice? One ECM was out of an 09 HHR [L4] & the other out of an 09 Silverado [V6]
Is there anyone to unbrick these units? Hate to lose the licenses for them.

Did you get any warning about incompatible OS's when you full flashed?

The only time the Incompatible Operating System warning came up was on the 5th attempt to recover.

Would you mind sending the file you've used to support@efilive.com plus the original 'as read' files from the 09 HHR [L4] & 09 Silverado [V6].
We have a lot of checks in the software to ensure this corruption can't happen, so I am surprised it's caught you out twice.
