Is RR right for me?

I'm thinking about buying the RR set up but I'm not sure it's right for me.

I'm going to be doing a lot of driving the next few months from my home in WA @ an elevation of 200' to Idaho with an elevation of 8500'. Also the temps right now are in the 80's-90's but I expect that to change very soon as well. I expect to see temps in the low 30's to high 20's.

I have a a magnacharged 6.0 in my K/5 and am presently running a OLSD set up but with all the variations in temp and elevation I don't want to be constantly tuning yet I want to get the most out of my set up, mainly gas mileage.

How hard is it to get the RR set up and working properly, mainly VE and boost VE and will it constantly monitor and change my VE over the course of a 10 hour trip?

Is there any other advantages to using it? Right now I only have one vehicle to tune on.

Well worth it IMHO. Your overall learning curve will accelerate watching the pcm react in realtime to the changes you make.

The learning curve is minimal - especially for the benifet. Go for it, you won't regret it.

i love mine....you will enjoy all the realtime stuff and immediately seeing the change and then hit "undo" if you dont like it...without ever pulling over on the side of the road. Mine occupies my long trips if i am by myself just messing with a/f and timing to see how they affect mileage and driveability

Thanks for the input, what about all the filters I see people using, is there a place that has them and an explanation or is it something that people come up with on their own?
