You would want to run a timing table suited for the 6.7 bowls.

what is the advantage of swapping from a 6.7 to a 5.9 ecm?
I am at the point now where the engine is a part, I need to pick pistons (probably qsb offroad), injectors (150 horse?) and I am thinking about going to a 48rfe trans. (truck is a 6.7 2007.5 currently)
Biggest advantage is rpm. As the CMC is limited to 35-3800 unless you've caxed around it.
If you run the 6.7 industrial pistons, you can run any cone angle you wish from 124-155*
