With your idle set at 800, 80kpa ballpark isn't all that surprising or unusual, and IMO the idle speed is a little too low for that size cam. ...

1500 is fine for the low end...as long as it's slightly above your normal idle speed, it should eliminate the flashing ses.

Increasing C5605 will only increase the rpm range of possible misfire...

For the flashing SES, I had the same issue.

The light would flash only at idle, but no code displayed. I too had the P0300 DTC disabled, but it still did it.

To fix it, adjust C5606 (Misfire...

If I make it any smoother, I will want a bigger cam. :D

This has been a minor issue ever since I put in my cam in last year (240s duration 111 lsa) - 2001 C5 Corvette. The idle lope is pretty choppy, and this is known for setting off a false misfire...
