Total guess but... Does it know it's in gear (i.e. could it be defaulting to p/n)?

Did you try the scanning tutorial section? Sounds like you have the formulas already. It's just a matter of whether you want to log Lambda or AFR. You could setup both. But, I'd suggest Lambda....

Glad this is still proving useful. :)
24x/24x Vengance Vindicator Cam (has 600+ lift) :)
Careful - this thread is me discussing some ideas I was working on trying to get the car to operate in CL mode in non-idle, non-WOT situations. Please don't read this as a "how-to" or anything of...
I've got the issue figured out. Problem is, the summer is pretty much over now here in MI. If I get some time before the snow gets here, I'll give it another go. But, I'm not holding my breath. :\
With only 4 degrees, it might not be as big of a deal. I finally did the math on mine and I think it came out to like 18*. If it was running rich on the WB while MAF only, then either the MAF curve,...
No...been quite busy this summer and haven't had much time to keep going with this. Thinking of leaving it in OL for a while.
WTF?!?!? When did this happen??? :bad:
Is there a chance catalytic overtemp protection is still enabled?
You will see some swings in FTs as weather conditions change. So, I wouldn't be too concerned about a 2~3% swing.
Please list...
;) LoL
If you zero out the VE in SD, you probably won't get enough fuel for the engine to sustain idle....or am I missing something?
If you're still seeing large swings after installing the MAF screen, my next step would be to make sure the MAF is thoroughly clean (can get MAF cleaner at Autozone type stores) and maybe try...
Yeah - you want the DMA (direct memory access) PIDs. The last 2 should be clearly labeled for speed density and normal.
No I don't. I'm hoping he sees this and posts up. :)
Got a call today from someone who's having trouble with logging their LM1. They have the external voltage pids selected and have checked the analog wires with a volt meter (seeing 5v). But,...
MAF needs to be redone with the addition of a screen. It makes sense that it would be off by a larger delta at higher airflow. It's altering the path of air right in front of the sensor. I guess it's...
There should be a cylair_dma for MAF calculation.
So sorry to hear. :(
I probably should have been more clear. Both points were made focusing primarily on intake or charge temps. If the actual charge temp differs from the measured, then you have a variance in fuel...
To answer the underlying question, AFR will deviate from commanded for a couple reasons as temps change. I think the two biggest reasons are:
1) Actuals vs. Reported: Sensors will suffer from...
If and when I get married - can you please teach this concept to my future wife? It'll make life much easier from what I understand. Thanks!!!
PS - Just saw your sig and realized we're twins. The...
Interesting...I knew there was a reason I constantly tell people to use the PE table. Damn ESP is flaring up again. LOL
So what you're saying is when closed loop is enabled in the tune, having a richer Commanded Fueling in Open Loop (CFOL) table setting than what is in PE table will not override the PE table when the...
