Update... it's not the .bin file itself. It is the .cax as others have noted.
Also gives an Integer overflow error in V8 Tune tool upon loading a .bin
I no longer have the ability to open any .bin files in v7.5 tuning tool. Can that be remedied asap please? :-(
You have it backwards. The slip limit is a delta between input and turbine speed, yes. But not as an enable. It's a disable feature that when the slip threshold is above 600 RPM it inhibits TCC...
They don't call those "houses" where I come from :) Starts with "M" and ends with "ansion" ... three guesses. Ready, GO!
Having an issue on an employee's laptop with an access violation erro at address 6C655304... Uninstalled , reinstalled, then installed the previous stable release and I'm still getting this same...
instigators.. lmao
I want to say thanks to Paul and Ross for taking the time to integrate our PIDS into the already powerful EFILive scan tool. Our datalogger features 10 channels of temperature via new fast acting RTD...
I just hit 55xx and the converter bolts loosened up... Sounds a lot like a rod bearing! It's fixed and ready to head to Bowling Green.
@ idle or high load?
If the calibrated number was 44 I would believe they could have a scalar or offset to add 8 degrees to it.
Suggest that it's not the pilot ?
I bet they are referencing the pilot start of injection because if the factory is starting the main 40 degrees advanced then I'd hate to see where the performance tuners are at :)
Right
I would imagine it's because they knew they were only running two shots in the operating system, there was no need to cal that table.
You are logging 6 events or you see the ability to log 6 events...
They only use 5 to the best of my knowledge but have the ability to run 6.
Do an experiment over an average drive cycle with 5 events, 4 events, then 3
From what I've read, it cuts from both ends, knocking off one post, then one pilot, etc etc.
Voltage plays a very important role in an electronic injection system ;)
Injection speed is dependent on voltage. If voltage drops too low, injection accuracy is compromised. That lookup table...
LBZ only runs 2 injection events.
Of the 5 events You have:
Pilot Injection 1
Pilot Injection 2
Main Injection 1
Post Injection 1
Post Injection 2
B1021.. It's a limiter table by voltage and RPM. You can use it to your advantage to shape your number of pulses by RPM, which is not ideal, but works very well for a DPF'less truck.. Set it to 2...
Of you testing on her LMM ? Are you talking to me or Ross ?
My theories on efficient combustion would point someone to use more fuel pressure instead of pulse width, increasing timing for more...
Keep your post injections in... If you kill them it will definately reduce your time between regens..
As a test, drop back to 2 injections.. Drive 20 miles and you're catalyst will be full.. Then...
Would like to have the posted as well if you don't mind.
The AllyLockers are 450.00
Extra for realtime programmable version.
Yes you can "peek" into the ECM without licensing to it.
Are you on ZR2 USA?
