So, I have been an EFILive user for several years - bought my first license almost 10 years ago when I lived in Georgia (in SoCal now). I used it to tune my C5 Corvette up to a few years ago and...
Thanks Paul.
I just swapped the stock 2.73 diff gear for a 3.42 andput in a Yank 3200 TC in my '02 coupe A4 Corvette. I downloaded the original tune to save it as the original and then upgrade a copy with the...

Thanks guys! :D
Paul, I meant the orange 2-terminal tc terminals you sell to hook up to the tc wires.

Only thing is, they are $3.50 but cost almost $20 to ship...
Mine is a true dual all the way back and I only installed one on the passenger collector. You could install a wideband in each collector and log them alternately and adjust your VE table using an...
SS2win, I just bought a cheap K-type to test the Flashscan module to make sure it was accepting a signal at that input. The tc I bought would not survive very long installed in the header. I hooked...
No, Paul. Sorry to say I did not get your emial. Perhaps it went to my old address. My current email is edbon@adelphia.net.
I am happy to hear it worked on your's because it means there's hope...
Hey Ross,
Just thought I'd point out that the Stewart-Warner thermocouples you linked to are the type I have that we're still trying to sort out. Specifically, model # STW114653.

Thanks for the clarification, Paul.
I've got a couple of buddies who'd like to know what a direct one-to-one crossgrade would cost if they were to send in their HPT kits for EFI/Flashscan Personal. The crossgrade layout doesn't seem...
I set these up (thanks Dirk :D ) and logged my M6 C5 idling from cold to operating temp. The two idle correction P/N maps registered .04 at 20* C and 0 in the rest of the cells. The In-gear maps...
I went with a separate bung in my passenger header for my PLX WB. At the time, no one had really sorted out the NB emulation too well so I didn't want to chance it. Plus, I played it conservatively...
Correct - no visual. But they do the OBDII query and I would imagine a MAF shut off in the PCM would raise a flag on their computer. I have yet to hear from any MAFless owner in an OBDII emissions...
That's all well and good but what to do come emissions time here in Georgia? I don't think a MAFless C5 designed to run a MAF will pass.
Possibly. I adjusted the IAC table and both symptoms disappeared.
I've reenabled the MAF now and my trims have gone lean - about half as far over as they were before the SD tune. When I revert...
I uploaded a new tune and did a logging session. Works great so far. :D
I copied my VE table to the CL MAF tune. The only difference in parameters from the CL SD version is what makes it SD - all other values are identical. The MAF version ran great although the trims...
After running in SDCL mode for a day, two issues persist.
1) On cold start (not hot start though) the engine races at 2500 rpm for 3 secs before settling at the correct starting idle speed.

Idle is perfect after reverting back to CLSD so far. My buddy had the same experience with his C5 after SD tuning - his idle smoothed out after VE tuning as well. Go figure. I'm sure I have a good...
Got several iterations of OLSD log/update cycles done. Not as easy as one would think even on the backroads I have the good fortune to live around. Got my BEN factor table looking pretty good...
Just got it to work. It was a combination of scaling the VE table by -15% and the IFR table by +20.3%
It's warming up now so I'm loggong and going for a drive. Sounds great so far.
Thanks.
