did you get a dealer reflash after you removed the Smarty? starting with a clean file isnt always enough
im still using build 238 for my personal use only basically, with no 3rd party hardware and my csp5 seems to be working fine. What am i missing out on if i dont upgrade?
i dont know about the skim/security issues in a conversion setting, but im pretty sure they arent so dependant on a VSS signal for fueling like the newer ecm. i have spoken to a couple guys that were...
i am curious why you guys that are doing these conversions are not just using an 06/07 ecm instead in cases where you arent keeping the factory VGT?
ok, someone wiser have a look and tell me whats wrong.
at around 740 frames and 940 frames it does that odd downshift i described earlier
between 550 and 1350 frames although the log says my...

i have been driving myself mad for the last week trying to totally eliminate the 2-3-2 shuttle. respanning and remapping both the TTVA and gov pressure maps. I have it...
any drawback to increasing the minimum TTVA angle above 3*?
well in my case, i drive it like i stole it more often than i should. as for the transmission, i asked DTT to give me the works in hopes of handling the abuse. lol
What are the pros and cons to raising it past 50* to the highest possible setting?
i respanned and changed mine to this. it hasnt eliminated the shuttle completely, but it sure helped. it holds the lower gears a little longer now and will only make the odd downshift now and then...
so when i got home from work i did like one of the other members suggested and blipped the key a couple of times and it did clear all the chaos on the dash and i was able to flash in a tune that had...
those are both for 6.7L, is there such a thing for the 5.9?
this C&C tune you speak of. do you (or anyone) happen to have one they can upload? I didnt see any tunes on the filedepot that appear to be of that nature.
The more i read, the more it looks like...
I have set E6510, F2102, and F2145 all to "Disabled" and it still does the 3 second run time and dies. Am i missing any other "switches"?
or should i return E6510 (VATS) back to enabled and set...

truck starts, runs for a few seconds, then dies. dash lit up like Xmas tree & security light...
by chance, does this apply to the 5.9 as well? im still having some issues with security after disabling it
wasnt the TIPM. i put a brand new one in with exactly the same results. i hope i can crazy glue the box back together so i can get my $1000 back....
So this is still happening.
I tried the other key fob and that made no difference.
I DID however manage to flash in a tune that i had disabled the security and skim before it went south again.

Ended up disconnecting the batteries for an hour. Hooked them back up and everything is working normal again. wish i knew what caused it though
Everything has been running great, then this morning i started it up, ran for 5 seconds then the CEL light and security light came on and truck died.
Will start and run for a few seconds no...
so i got back home after letting it sit most of the day and when i tried to fire it up all the above codes popped up and it ran rough.
after rechecking connections i replaced the rail pressure...
i soaked it at the carwash with their "tire & engine" cleaner for about 15min, then stood back and rinsed it keeping the direct spray to a minimum
this morning i cleared DTC and it started and ran fine. no more codes but it has a "miss" now and then. There must be a connection im missing, or perhaps a bad wire that didnt like the water.
this...
ive had the ECM plugs off 3 times now & cleaned and dried each time.
i pulled out the multimeter and checked the MAP sensor plug as it was one on the list. there was a steady 4.95v on the power...
