I took it one step further - I installed V8 Build 203 on a new computer that has never seen EFILive installed, reprogrammed the Autocal and it still gives a $050B error.

I did that already - it did not make a difference. I used the "Uninstall EFILive Scan and Tune" application first, but perhaps it is not removing everything that needs to be deleted?

Here are some more details I have been able to confirm-
I can update a V2 or Autocal firmware to the pre-release and as long as I have not written a specific BBX configuration , I can then revert...
