The -5* at idle in gear is biting me now.
I have a very low compression engine I am tuning now and at -5* the engine sputters badly.
Where the heck does the -5 come from anyway?
Is there a shortage of memory? Provided what you want to do scales correctly, yes, it is a viable solution and saves memory. The A, B, and so on maps are really just 3 Dim maps themselves.
I'm...
I see some of the multipliers. Just didn't make sense to simply stack tables without bringing in another variable as part of the stacking. I will stare at it some more, but I am now getting a feel...
Reading through the tables, everything is mm3 against RPM. However some should be ECT or IAT or whatever. Is this a feature or a bug? For instance B0930 should have a temperature component as an...
Nothing bigger right now, but I am working on that. These turbos share some parts with others and function the same from a controls point of view to almost any VVT.
VVT can be, and is, very...
I should say "drive pressure" instead of just back pressure. My bad. Drive pressure is between the turbo and engine (technically back pressure) and is a necessary evil to make boost. How much evil is...
I should elaborate. LLY only.
With somewhere around 70 - 80 PSI of back pressure in the exhaust there is enough force on the EGR valve to overcome the spring. Boost on the other side will help...
If you play with boost, the drive pressure will be enough to crack open the EGR.
