This is in a 2005 Monte Carlo SS.
I should have mentioned that the egr is blocked and disabled.
Had a customer complain of a slight surge at certain times. Sure enough we drove the truck and I logged it and there was a slight surge where desired rail pressure dropped etc... so looking into...
Thanks again. I was just testing the install on a different PC before I updated the one we typically tune with. That's why we ran into the new install issue. Cheers!
We do a lot of Duramax tuning locally and some autocals. We've just recently began tuning Cummins and I find it much easier than a Duramax. We're not overly busy, so we have time to invest. We...
Thanks for the update Cindy. I'm looking forward to the release. I was able to replicate the error of the missing calibrations on another computer. First time install won't have ability to tune...
I'm not in front of my LB7 to see what PIDs are available. I'm certain speed sensor will be. Do you know how to use the scan tool software well?
Yep...I bet Kory already fixed this...or turned VATS off... correcting VIN is best way.
As ScarabEpic22 stated, limp mode will cause this. It could be transmission slippage as stated. It could still be fuel rail pressure dropping. Can you post up a log file with your hot tune causing...
Did you get this taken care of?
Thanks!
On a fresh install, this doesn't give you all of the calibrations in V7.5/calibrations/CMB. CMB folder has only 19 files. This prevents new installers from being able to open the CMB tunes in 7.5. ...
Found an issue... Can't open any 06-07 tunes that are non-CSP5... tunes I've already pulled from trucks and my current 5.9L OS database give the error in the picture. 6.7L tunes open fine so far....
GMPX mentioned that the CSP5 would be changing fairly soon. Is this the version he referred to. I'm wanting to make sure if this is it before I make new CSP5 scripts.

Here's what my table reads by default. Before I flash a CSP5 tune, will this need to be disabled or the RPM threshold need to be lowered below 750RPM for CSP5 switching to take effect? ...
With all due respect, I do use the calculators. This also proves true for every tuner I know. Does this mean the tune won't need tweaking? No..it usually does, but the calculator definitely gets...
I know everyone uses Josh's timing calculator in excel...but since it's been done on the cummins and works well at that, I think if it'd be possible to go back and add that it'd be awesome. I'm sure...
Never hear anything on this? When you say twin tuning are you running two fixed vane turbo? If so, there's not much you can do to control the boost as it depends on the duration and timing...one...
Actually I just checked and I was off a bit on the "3000" cell... FIXED

So I've adjusted the stock tune to reflect something close to that of the LBZ table...although I had to make some guesses for some of it... Can someone with a good knowledge of this look over it and...

I originally posted this in the wrong section. Hopefully I'll get more help here.
Ive been chasing my tail on this and I cant figure it out. 2002 LB7 running 15186006 OS. The truck defuels hard...
Ok...I just did a test using a fresh full flash of the factory OS 6006 from tunefiledepot. Just to make sure it's the right one I checked it in the TIS software for my tech 2 and it says that's the...
Yeah, these are mine. Its a bone stock truck. Ive tuned a few of them withthis same basic setup and non reacted like this except for one other that had the same OS and year. I don't think its my...
