Hey Mate, im still running the public release but had a look through the change log and didn't see anything mentioned that was similar that was fixed.
For the first time ever i was using v8 with...
i still use 7.5, 95% of the time too. i've been slow to go across to v8.
what would be nice to get in v8 is being able to open hpt's custom os files. i dont care to look at the ve map modification...
report back once u change it.
no worries. im actually going to test that range switch now in my car to see what it does to the tapshift function.
ok, so i my car if i enable the parameter is makes no difference, but if i...
once i validate a bunch of those settings, i'll be providing them to the efi guys to implement as standard settings in the software.
writing the cax file is rather simple'ish but...
u might need to send the tune file to whomever provided the autocal and get them to set the security link.
also how is your shifter setup for positions?
PRNDM ?
If M is D5, then you may need...
are you using an autocal or v2/v3 unit?

i dont have any security enabled on the file, but check this version.
Where did your original trans come from & did you perform a full flash it...
you have used an ecu tune from an e38/t42 aka 4l60e.
theres a bunch of parameters that are different between an a4 & a6 in the ecu.
i.e gear ratios, IMS, NSBU switch etc. (none of these are...
i have changed 1 parameter in this file via a cax file the other 2 changed settings were to turn tutd on as if was controlled via bcm.
test it out.24584
i have a lot more parameters defined for this os then efi/hpt has now.
how is your tapshift activated? via bcm or some other module or is it hardwire like the corvette?
I have had a sneaking...

DESC.001 = IVT Weighting Coefficient - AFR Term....
sadly, efilive does not have the ivt scaling. but if you post your os. i can probably find it pretty quick and u can add it to a cax file.
the whole point to double stoich/scaling ifr is keep as much usable g/cyl as possible.
there is also a ivt weighting coefficient that needs to be halved to keep the ivt in check.
generally the etc ecu's use GM.APP for accelerator pedal position
GM.ETCTP for the actual blade position.
Nearly 12 months later, has there been any updates on can support ?
what else does the gateway module do?
ah ok. so your wired to starter directly then. sounds like a vats issue. sometimes you need to play with the settings to get them going. just turning off vats doesnt always work. you might need to...
i would bet that the commodore would be more compatible then the corvette changes since they used a lot of older serial comms gear for the dash clusters. where as commodore gear was all high & low...
ok on the corvette os the difference between man/auto is H0162. auto is serial data, man = pulse.
I know there's a bunch more parameters defined in hpt, which i could easily bring across, but...
forgot to ask before what was the corvette os you tried too.
what os are you using. i'll see if i can find anything if it's not defined already in efilive.
have you got the clutch pedal position sensor installed/wired to the ecu or have you tried turning off the clutch check?
