anything closer to the ecu year should be good, i believe the protocol change was in the 09+ years for the tcm to ecu comms
0 chance of getting a 2008 trans to talk to any ecu after 2009/2010.
you gonna need to put a later model year tcm in the gearbox.
Thread mining as i did remember there was a request already.
Picking up a wrecked 2014 colorado on friday, haven't really decided what to do with drivetrain yet, but figured it best to get in...
well i had sort of agreed on the theory above, but i've seen a table in other software where there indeed was a speed limiter.
i think from memory i seen in it a 2010/2011 camaro os, but not in a...
I'm curious as to the reason why the tune file security is updated all the time.
Better compression/different algo to reduce file sizes?
correct, but you can also edit the g/cyl axis in some of the later calibrations
no. u still keep cable throttle body.
well when i played with mine. i tried the camaro e38 os for both the ecu/trans & couldnt get the tapshift to work as a hardwire.
but the holden ecu tune with the camaro tcm base would work. so go...
send me a pm with your email. I will email you the ecm/tcm tune i used in my conversion.
log lambda from ecm & use a ext.lambda if via serial or you need to create yourself a pid for an analog wideband.
then from that you create a ben pid.
What wideband are you using?
so i had a look at mine, change your h0164 to can late. do the pull resister on the line and report back
im running a similar setup in a conversion.
I had to do a pullup resister on the tacho & vss signal. Unfortunatly in my case, the ppk value is still much lower then what i needed for my speedo to...
in a couple of months i'm going to be adding another turbo to mine for a compound setup, so I would be happy to test/play around with vane control too if we can get them added over time.
I was reading on the hpt forum that some people who had tried it on the e38's were getting like a cut out around 4k rpm when they used it.
something to do with the cpu maxing out, e67 apparently...
you know under hpt it uses the manifold switch open table yeah?
The main difference or problem if you will between the 2 software is that HPT shows 5kpa difference and does not show 1bar,2bar or 3bar scaling. It seems by default they are only going from 5 to...
It was/is the local Australian GM brand.
LOL, oh so true
you are correct, i had my head in "petrol land" as i was looking at some e38 stuff when i wrote this. lol.
While not fuel related, I still would like to get the multiplier & adder tables for SOI timing.
I've used a standard holden bcm tapshift tune & converted it to hard wire tapshift fine.
You do seem to have to get the perfect or compatible ecu tune in it though. I had to use holden...
yeah im not sure why anyone would of purchased the rights. Didn't think there really is anything of it to own. I can understand him charging a license fee per person.
Guys have worked out to do...
There is nothing to purchase, the efilive guys already know how to unlock a standard locked ecu with the known algorithms. All they are doing is just "brute-forcing" all the possible keys from 0000...
worst case its like 8 days
Yeah same guy, just an earlier version of that software.
Most (90%) of the unlocks I do are for other people\shops who do not lock ecu's after tuning & are generally further modifying, So they are...
