I just double checked the COS3 options for that OS and there is nothing for nitrous... only boost. COS5 allows you to tweak timing and fuel (dry shot) based on input pin switch, but yeah only...
Yeah you'll want to use the 2004 C5 as your base file to make life easiest and keep fuel gauges and everything working as expected.
You'll just need to enable FF on it, but I posted the cax files...
Also, why the 12592618 OS? Why not the default 04 Corvette OS?
I pretty much exclusively do handheld/black box only flashing and logging. Don't like lugging the laptop around if I don't have to and at this point I'm just fine tuning stuff. Let me know if you...
Not sure if I implemented them 100% exactly like they are depicted in this guide, but here's my custom user calculated PIDs, located at \EFILive\V8\Config\

USER=User-Defined PIDs

See attached, I made a cax8 file that added a few FF params. From what I can tell, this file already has FF enabled. Just enable "sensor fitted" and make sure it's displaying alcohol content in the...
As mentioned already, a handful of tables such as spark blend factor doesnt appear to be defined. Is this a stock file / do you have stock tune file? If it's a factory FF vehicle (sounds like it...
I converted over most of the "CALC.VET" type of stuff that I used on v7.5 as well. Will share if I can figure out a better way to save them to a file or something.
Good thread. I'm just getting back into tinkering with my C5 and see there's been lots of software changes and V8 has come a long way-- I like it!
Anyways, I had this same question and popped on...
Sounds good, thanks!
OK, thank you for the follow up. I guess I just found it odd that the main VE table was in one set of units and the cranking table in another set of units. I'll standby for the V8 updates.
LS1B - 12587603 here
B0101 is stuck in g*K/kPa units
B0102 is stuck in VE % units
Seems like a small bug that I can't cycle thru the display units for the VE tables. Any ideas or fixes?
100% need to confirm what injectors you have, and then confirm injector data before really digging much further, IMO.

Is there a better place to provide V8 editor feedback? Just minor stuff, don't want to clutter it up here and doesn't really pertain to the functionality of getting the next stable release out.
Beta 50 installed and updated the BBX config files. All good now, was able to Black box flash no problems!
Yes, I didn't touch the O2 sensors or the wiring at all. I looked at the 2004/P59 O2 sensors for my car and it was a different style connector and everything, so I decided I would try leaving it as...
Went to black box cal flash today and got $0503 error "script file not valid"--LS1B. After the failed attempt, I re-downloaded the latest beta softwares, wiped the config and SD card, re-saved the...
Just to be clear, the O2s work fine using a chassis ground for the heater circuit. P59 just allows the pcm to monitor the heater circuit directly. If I was already running a bunch of new wires I...

That's good info referencing what part/service numbers have what output driver packs etc.
I recently did a P01 to P59 swap on my 2003...
No issues observed using this version. Is there a plan to add more V8 editor support for LS1B stuff? I'd be happy to test.... I am running 12587603
The updated .exe fixed the issue for me 100%
thanks!
OK, I was able to confirm that deleting the "system volume information" folder in Linux fixed the issue. I booted back up to windows, and I was able to open V8 Explorer just fine. Linux mint made...
Yep, it does.
I deleted the "system volume information" folder, but it instantly reappears, before you can eject it etc.
I remember in previous versions of the V8 Explorer software, I would see...
