sure; i was going to post up the binaries to share but you can delete it lol
pm me your email i'll send em over. the raw files from tis and the decompressed binaries
probably so; i'll mess with it more when i get home. the individual segments look like binaries in hex lol. i can see tables and ascii text in there
"File block size does not match controller block size"
the binaris i extracted from tis are just individual segments not a full binary
ahh i was opening with the 7.5 editor; i'm updating it now
Hey guys, I have the raw binaries for the various OS segments for the latest release for my my14 cruze 12662377, 12658789 and two more.
I tried opening them individually with the CAX file here...
So if we have 126589.bin and 12662377.bin how do we open them. do we need to combine them and import it to an efi live? i thought efi could handle raw bins. I imported your cax files and it wont...
I logged my Cruze a bit tonight and I think the logged pulsewidth is wrong. Its showing upwards of 15ms of pulsewidth. that sounds extremely high to me.
I haven't looked at the tune (mostly...
i had some problems on the dyno doing low load pulls. higher load and on the street pressure stayed more stable. what conditions are you having osculation at?
i too am having the same issue as the OP....
advice i got was "tune around it" but it would be nice to hold commanded to redline (especially if its bumped up)
Excellent!
it looks like its only in air density 1. i guess someone forgot to link it in the rest lol.
very glad this is finally a reality. on my next trip back home i have a guy ready to set this up and...
might be worth starting fresh with a dealer flashed virgin tune or try your luck with a stock file from the repository.
are any parameters you changed out of bounds?
this is true. but even then it never hit it in the first log.
i'll do more testing the next time i have a 6.7 on the rollers and see what happens
here are screen shots from the last truck i did. 07.5 6.7 stock fuel system with intake turbo back and deletes.
the initial run was pretty short but it still didnt hit rail pressure. the next run...
thats where i first noticed the problem was in rail pressure... let me find some logs
actual vs. desired rail pressure wasn't hitting thats when i noticed duty cycle. made some small changes and...
hmmm this concerns me then...
I honestly haven't done many 6.7 cummins so far on my dyno. They were all mostly stock minus some induction mods and deletes. 2 were pushed into the 400whp range. ...
$5 says you're never hitting targeted rail pressure.
Every 6.7 i've done even with tame fuel and timing i've had to tweak the duty cycle tables for rail pressure
Excelent!
Have you guys looked into pulling codes from other modules? I have a hunch that the BCM and or overhead module are storing something emissions related and waiting for some other non...
did this or the 10ths update have anything new for the Cummins stuff?
thats good!!
this guy wasn't needing it removed but on a few pulls we did hit a fuel cut at the same speed every time. He just wanted more mpg out of it and a a few more hp. I didnt even have to...
i too tried to remove the limiter and it was a no go on my dyno
what hardware and software are you using for the j2534?
have you tried using an actual starscan tool to do a thermo nuclear reset of everything?
interesting, how much CNG is used. is it a set amount or does it vary by rpm/load?
I've seen natural gas used on big industrial diesels to offset using as much diesel or fuel oil (i was reading a...
can you log slip on the tcm when recreating this issue?
