It cant Be any worse then heaveing the truck up to 3700 rpm at WOT still not locking then letting off and haveing it lock IMo if done right it may help save the converters. I just want it to lock...
Ira I got my switch from you so I belive there grey LOL dont remember but the wire was fairly stiff that may be why it was easier for me then others?

I agree I dont think the co piolt is the correct answer. PLus spending another 1000 plus labor to put a co piolt in just so the converter will lock kinda blows.
Not verry hard even for some one like me with big ole hands:grin: or at least mine wasent.
x2 this would allow us with certain converters to make it work and lock under wot. and make for better tuneing of other converters. Also this is needed on LLY / LBZ / LMM tcms not sure if lb7 have...
The problem for alot of people is they where directed to use one converter an it turned out it will not lock up under wot conditions becuase of what you metioned above. so now there stuck with...

Any thing ever get figured out with this. I have the same exact issue I am useing the 8594 os wellactually the 52528594 os and the truck wont remote start it will fire my lift pump and the securitey...

There are two 10 min run times after the second one you can not restart the truck with out first key cyceling the ignition. The remote start option was only avalibale on Lmm 2007.5 and newer trucks....
you should make sure you have the latest updates installed as well as boot block and firm ware for your v2. its all available on the main efi page

if we had the tables that would be a huge start as we would preety much know if it was locking in 2nd with out any more pids. allthoe the other pids as mentioned would be nice :) Thanks for the hard...

mine will lock in 3rd if in th mode only other wise my truck will not luck untill i let off the throttle a little i have hit 4000 rpms getting on the freeway before becasue the converter never...
jody i tried this same thing a month ago and it cause my trans to limp. not sure why. but it did not like it what so ever. i belive this is a 1058 issue as they age and wear. i never had this issue...
