I decided that I would let my friend use my laptop and V2 setup for an upcoming road course event that he is going to so he can do some logs. Anyways, I was messing around with it last nite, setting...
Damn, thanks man. I won't have the first clue where to start on doing whatever you just did, which appears to be a lot.
I'll load that up and report back what it puts down.
P.S. - Any idea...
Whoops. Haven't been on the board in awhile and forgot about this thread. I figured it out guys. I don't remember what I did, but it's working for me. lol.
Thanks to all those that rendered...
I haven't gotten that far into my tuning adventure yet. Actually, I haven't really done any 'tuning' yet. The most I've done is turn off a few annoying features.
I'm gonna attach my .tun file...
Ok, I downloaded the driver zip file off the 'downloads' page. I unzipped them into a temp. folder like the instructions say to do.
step 2.
"Included in the zip file are three installation...
Well, I'm not having any compatibility issues so far. I loaded 7.4 on just fine. I'm just computer dumb and don't know how to chase down the necessary file for the driver. Vista is confusing the...
I can't find anything in that thread in the lounge. I bought a brand new (cheapy) Acer laptop to use soley for tuning. However, it has Vista, and I can't figure out how to install the drivers. XP...
Earl,
Unless they can/do change it to a spark cut instead of a fuel cut, I don't think it'll work on a F/I application.
In for a T-shirt and a hooded pull-over sweat shirt.
Eh, I'd like to do that, but, two weekends in a row probably isn't possible for me. I'll hold out for one closer to me at a later date. *sigh....* :frown:
Doh! Search function owns me.
Thanks.
I'd love to be able to make this one, but, it's the same weekend as the EFI-101 class that's being held in Illinois, and I feel I should take the 101 class before the EFIlive specific class. :bash: ...
Again, I'm still getting a feel for this whole tuning thing. I'm a bit confused as to what PE does? Does someone want to explain it to me?
 I am 100% in for an east coast class. I am going to sign up for the EFI-101 class that is going to be on May 5-6. So, a mid-late May class would work perfect for me, lol. This would give...
You make one anywhere near the east coast, and I'm there.
I'm going to try to make it to the EFI-101 class in IL, in early May. If you had one somewhere on the eastcoast around that time, that...
1. Try taking a temperature in Kelvin, and convert it straight to Farenheit. Take note of the answer.
2. Then Take the same temp. in Kelvin, convert it to Centigrade, and then convert that...
I was messing around with the conversion calculator, specifically the temps, and noticed that it doesn't always give you the right answer. What's up with that?
I can't get them to work for my friend's '05 LS2 vette. They work fine on my '03 LS6 vette.
I don't have my software handy to try out the setting issue. I will report back with details later.
Showoff. ;) No, seriously. How'd you get it that smooth?
ummmmm. I don't know.... :bash:
I just logged whatever the default PIDs were. I couldn't get into BiDi controls while logging, monitering, or while doing nothing. Me thinks they are disabled...
I noticed that these weren't available when scanning my friends '05 vette. Any plans on offering these anytime soon?
Thanks guys.
I see OS5, and it appears its mostly for Boost/nitrous. But, what do OS's 1-4 do? I searched but couldn't find a description of each.
A breakdown of each OS's features would be super. Thanks...
Would you be able to auto tune a custom OS? Say, OS5, mainly for boost?
I've heard (I think) about people tuning in open loop mode. Which, IIRC from my user manuals, means that the O2 sensors are not used, mostly during warm up times.
My question is. Can you tune...
