Thanks Paul. I've seen some of the dyno related PIDs. Now I just need bidirectional data for Mustang and Dynojet chassis dynamometers (since those are the dynos we have).
I thought some people might be interested to know that in applications where an EFILive custom OS doesn't exist for the nitrous activation fueling/spark control, we have a module that simulates the...
Old thread but just saw this.
The non flex fuel trucks also target 14.1 for the entire table.
On the flex fuel trucks they don't set 0% to 14.1 and have a full AFR vs ethanol content "curve"...
I know this is an old thread but did anyone get anywhere with integrating the EFILive V2 data into the chassis dyno data acquisition systems (and in the other direction too)?
Would like to be able...
Could you clarify "we". I know EFILive can since they already exist. But can the end users do so? And can they show up in the area of BBX where they are visible on the V2 scan tool display while...
Are we able to create calculated PIDs for V8 ourselves that show up directly in the calculated available PIDS in the BBX window of V8?
That appears to have fixed it. I can now connect to the V2 devices using EFILive Explorer. Thanks.
Anyone else getting an EFILive Explorer error $0030 (The application and EFILive_Hapi versions are not compatible) after updating to the August 13th release?
All three of the cables I am having the problem with have the same start-up statistics as well:
Start-Up: 1
Waited: 2
Total: 2
Using 2GB SD cards (not SDHC). I thought the new software/hardware recognized the bigger cards but I have never tried and just to be sure we still use the smaller SD cards (getting harder to find).

Seems to work fine on an older version of the software (274). Tried a different USB cable. Same thing. Tried another USB port. Same thing. Thought I had it fixed when I removed another USB device (SD...
Just tried another V2 cable and get similar (but different) results. Won't see the files/folders in Explorer (no Error $0101 though). Remove the SD card and try again and it works (able to see the...
I am getting an "Error: $0101: No data received." message when I try to connect to the FlashScan cable with EFILive Explorer and then I can't view the anything from the FlashScan with Explorer.

That last part likely means that the ECM variable "ECM PILOT1TM" is not supported and the AutoCAL isn't set up to ignore bad PIDs. The configuration file that configures the variables needs to be...
Keep in mind some of these PIDs are reporting absolute pressure so 0 psi would be a total vacuum, 14.2 to 14.5 is normal atmospheric conditions around us and 30 psi would be around 15 psi of boost...
The 2009-2011 CTSV and the 2009-2011 ZR1 (E67 ECM) have three different pressure sensors where most of the V8 engines just have one.
GM.SIAP is supercharger inlet absolute pressure. That is the...
Paul,
Any idea when this feature (compact file format) will be available?
Does an easy way exist to convert an existing PID list used for pass-thru logging with the V2 cable to a BBL PID list for the V2 or the AutoCAL?
BTW - has anyone else noticed that some of the...
That is what I was afraid of. I hope they add more memory capacity or come up with a more compact storage format.
I am trying to load an Autocal with two engine calibrations and two transmission calibrations. The is for an E38/T43 vehicle application so each CTD file is roughly 2 MB. I can only load 3 files.

Paul,
I just noticed that it also impacts your dashboard. When I changed controllers it removed PIDs I had selected to be in the graph view. Opening up the Dashboard page didn't fix it either...
Some of this has now been discussed on other threads. Paul posted a possible work around and I think it might solve it until Paul solves it in the software.
If you are having PID related...
Paul,
I am not at my desktop PC that was having this problem (and I fixed the problem on that PC by uninstalling and re-installing the software anyway).
Despite that I decided to test this at...
