I am starting to get closer to the issue. It appears to be a Windows 11 + USB-C issue with powering on the V2 FlashScan while the OBDII is connected and the car is off. See my test cases below.

I got it working when connected to the car too. Here's the odd series of events:
- V2 FlashScan connected to the OBDII
- Opened V8, attempted to connect to the V2 FlashScan and got the "cannot...
Thanks. I suspect it could have been a bad connection for the USB-C to USB-A connector when i was in the car. I just tested it at my desk and it was able to connect to the V2.
I was able to install the latest V8 and V7 apps on Windows 11, however it cannot detect the USB to the FlashScan V2.
Detailed setup:
- Apps V8 (V8.3.22) and V7 (V7.5.48)
- FlashScan V2 with the...
joecar, that makes sense now for the "Save/Reopen values".
I set all shifts to 0.2s now and everything is working as expected now. Thanks again!
joecar - Below is a summary of all the tests that I've run.
Tune Entered: Desired Shift Time (s)
After Save/ Re-open: Desired Shift Time (s)
Shift Tested
Torque Reduction Work?
Notes
joecar - that's exactly how i got to this point. I read everywhere that you should set the times to 0 when you have a shift kit and then use TR to soften the shifts - which was not working.
I...
CONFIRMED.
Test: 1-2 shift time set to 0 sec.
Results:
- Part throttle: pulls the correct timing during the shift for the TR% set in the tune.
- WOT: does NOT pull any timing during the shift.
I'm going to set it back to 0 sec to confirm that this issue occurs again. I'll post the results.
- PCM: GM LS1B: Service 12586243, HW 12583659, other numbers: 12587670, YFXJ. However, this is not...
I added a desired shift time of 0.2sec for the 1st to 2nd shift and now the transmission torque reduction is working at WOT. The shift time was 0 previously when it was only working at part throttle....
Is there any reason why the torque reduction would not work during a WOT shift?
My logs show that it's correctly pulling the timing during a 1 to 2 shift during a part throttle shift. During a WOT...
That's what I suspected, however in testing it always seemed like the lookup was off by 1 row.
Test Data:
No other retard was pulling timing during this test.
High octane table set the same as...
Is the A0010 Boost timing table interpolated based on the current MAP reading?
OR
Does it use the closest row? Example: MAP=162kPa, then it would use the row for 165kPa.

Yes, but not to the PCM. It's wired up a gauge - Innovate Motorsports 3912 MTX-D Dual Gauge.
No real issue anymore. For now, I just manually update the tune. If I ever get the time, then I'll take another try at getting a COS 04110003 + 12587604 working solution.
@Highlander This was more of finding an EFI Live COS that I could use with the support rather than any hardware issue. From joecar and searching, I would have had to start with a different stock tune...
I had this same exact issue recently. It occurred and would randomly fix itself. It happened on car B with an LS1B 09360361 after I had previously been connected to car A with an LS1B 12587604 /...
joecar, Thanks for the reply.
I did some digging over the weekend and came up with the following.
Solution: I'm getting an Ethanol Gauge in order to read the ethanol % from the sensor (GM 13577429)...
Current Setup:
2004 GTO, Automatic 4L60E, Procharger
GM LS1B: Service 12586243, HW 12583659
OS: EFI Live Custom 04110003 upgraded from stock 12587604 (flex fuel disabled)
I have googled a lot...
Thanks Paul! The update worked for me too.
I have updated to V7.5.9 build 322, V8.2.4.315, firmware V2.07.112 (Feb 14, 2017).
Controller: LS1B
Issue: When I open V7.5 Scan Tool, it cannot connect to the controller. It states that it is...
