IMO, if you have pre and post data then yea... I just dont have pre data and just going by what my car did. I think she will be fine for her ~300HP 98 TA.

Ill have her data log the run... I hate to totally take them out but i just dont see how a 70K stock motor with stock everything in the tune can pull that much tiimng.. Like I said, I dont have a...
LOL... forgot the mention that.
LOL.. 12.05? You must have taken off a shit ton of weight or slaped in a 5k stall verter....
I hear you 100%... I wish I could have taken a log before and after the full exhaust mod to eliminate one thing or the other. Just thinking it will be fine being all stock (interanally) and 102 race...
KR helps to indicate detonation if you picked up bad gas so you dont hurt the motor... So, if im not going to turn them off knowing I am running 102 then why not just up the timing 3-4 to compensate?...
On the girlfriend 98 stock TA (a few bolt ones) and she pulls like 3-4* of knock.
She is racing tomorrow and I will be putting in 102 octane and would like to turn on of the knock sensors since i...
98's tend to get high KR.... Put the old tune back in and see if you still get knock or throw some race gas in and see.
technically if you have a wet kit and use that table to mostly add fuel its a dry shot I suppose..
Just make sure your injectors are up to par if you dont use your jets to get you close.
So you have A0015 that can richen up the AF by changing the VE Tables and A0016 can pull timing.. Pretty nice...
Is there a limit to how much timing can be pulled and how much you can adjust your...
You care to go into more detail about COS 5.
Next thing you should get is a wideband in your car... That will tell you where your A/F is... Your too rich or too lean, that will leaves power on the table and could possibly damage things.
I wouldnt load up any one elses tunes... Load up the one that was posted and see how it does. Do you have a wideband in the car?
yea, that looks pretty nice... And like he said DO NOT SPRAY on that tune.
You were spraying on the stock shortblock it set at 18* of timing.. The tuner prolly set it up that way for the spray, I think its a tad too much. And N/A it will make your car feel like a pooch...
If its running 18* N/A its going to be down on some power.. Most LS1's are about 25*-28*.
You should invest in a timing tuner so you can run full timing N/A, then when you spray it retards timing...
I see 18* for timing in the WOT area in your spark tables. So, just wondering why it got set like that.
yea, there shouldnt be any reason why you cant get it into the low 12's/high 11's.
You would have had to do some tuning to get teh big cam to run/idle.
You an auto or a manual?? You have to give some details on your set up, and a little history.
Are you refering to being as slow as stock towards an ET at a track or seat of the pants slow?
Have any logs?
well, whats your set up?? I know my car had a mid to low 10 in it, it was running strong before #7 ringland fell apart.
well, its out and waiting.

Thats the thing, when we got back the car sounded normal from friday evenings WOT log.. I heard it saturday morning when I pulled the car out of the garage to go to the track.
I do have the log...
Last friday evening a bud and I did a few WOT logs to dial in the AF on the speed denstity tune I am running.. I planed on going to the track saturday morning. We got back in the driveway and all was...
kind of weird how it broke off by the relief I made... Looks like to me it just broke off, the valves look fine so I dont think nothing made contact.
