Thanks. I understood that the first time it was mentioned.
Still hoping there will eventually be a way to correct this problem instead of just avoiding it.

OK, two months later...
If you have a way of looking at the internal structure of the hex file to determine the table size is 17 x 22 instead of the expected 23 x 23, can you also see the values...
OK, it's now been six weeks since the nature of this problem was identified.
I hope I am not coming across as hitting the panic button to ask if there is a solution forthcoming?
Thanks for posting that.
As it turned out, I missed that more detailed explanation on the next page (page 4).
For some reason, it was displaying as side-by-side pages, so the next page I saw when...
Yes, the bootblock/firmware updating method using the "EFILive Control Panel" works very easily.
My confusion related to some of the instructions referring to that method, as opposed to the older...
Thanks.
I should have put a link here to a series of posts starting here

I'm going to fill in the blanks so maybe the next guy won't be left guessing which way is which, or wondering where the boot block & firmware...

What had me confused is these instructions: don't seem to apply (at least I...
Looks like I'm having a similar problem as the OP.
My current Flashscan firmware version is 2.4.70.
I downloaded the "Upgrading FlashScan.pdf" and noted the following instructions...

I have an older Flashscan (license issue date is March 2008).
The Firmware reported in EFILive 7.5 is 2.4.70.
I assume that "2.4.70" is the same as 2.04.xx as listed in the "Upgrading...
No, but when I asked that question, I had no way to know that 20x20 table was not another misinterpretation of a 23x23 table.
joecar's subsequent answer indicates otherwise, that any table size...
Thanks... OK, so that means you must have a way of looking at the internal structure to determine the 17 x 22 table size.
This makes me wonder how tuners who've done tunes for LMM vans have gotten...
Now that I've stared at it long enough, I also see what the problem may be...
OK, hopefully it's easy to see what I did here:

Every column of cells in the out of whack triangular section...
Thanks...
But I see the same number of rows (23) and columns (23) in both tables.
However, I am using the northern hemisphere standard for counting ;)
(sorry couldn't resist; don't hold it...

^ I have an LMM van, and I'd like to see if they have the latest oem calibration. Since you can check that & download the latest, I will get the VIN.
The other OEM tunes I would like to get (if...
