i never had to drive them after flashing stock file in. just back to stock then modded file back in. re enabling the can messaging i think is the key.
i have seen this before as well. i had to install stock file so all modules were enabled again, then blew deleted file back in.

no you cant with efi - 2010 & newer have different controller, h&s or smarty are options right now
it has been my experience that a c&c pcm is on its own here is an o8 c&c stock file
had 2 last week do this, appears they had smarty installed at one time, installed clean file & all was ok. possable software update is doing this?

start to finish - read pcm with v2, did not notice i had 601 boot loader. made all mods to tune & blew file in. truck had no crank situation. i then reinstalled original tune & started truck. loaded...
i have flashed 6.7 controllers with 601 boot loader, simply down loaded h&s tuner, returned to stock & then blew tuned file in.
