Mostly basic changes to my .tun file, such as raised rev. limiter, etc.
(I have 224/224/ .581/.581 112 LCA cam, Patriot stg.2 heads, headers, etc.)
I have: increased timing by about 4 deg.,...
Trying to get some sort of halfway reasonable SD tune done here using the LTFT's (no, I don't have a WB O2 yet)
But it seems no matter how light I try and be on the throttle, all my LTFT's seem to...
Trying to get my Idle leaned out for cam.
Got EFILive, confused on just what controls idle fuel ratio.
Is it "commanded fuel in open loop" - (b3605 ) or the VE pri or sec tables (b0101/b0103) that...
Ok i know there is a tutorial for SD tuning VE using the autotune feature of EFILive (which absolutely kicks azz) ,
but that required a WB O2 sensor, which I don't have yet. And when I do get it,...
So if the backup table gets used when MAF failure detected, how do you tune VE in SD/open loop mode? You can't copy the backup VE tables to the Primary tables, because the backup has less columns. ...
I thought the primary VE controlled fueling in close-loop and the secondary or "backup" VE is used when the MAF is disconnected (open loop), at least on the '98's ????
So if VE has no effect on...
Yes, I'm wondering the same thing. I'm a noob and it really would help me get going tuning !
I read somewhere that you supossed to use the secondary, or I think ELILive calls it "backup VE" table to tune VE on the '98 model LS1's ??
This true??
Also, any tutorials on how to adjust the VE...
