Well, i guess you are right. However i didn't like the fact that is only ran for 10min and additional 10 if you cought it in time to reset, and second it never turned the heat on as it was supposed...

Factory remote works however, aftermarket market will no longer work in the truck do to DSP5 OS. Spent an hr 1/2 there with them trying to reflash the remote start. Does not work do to the flash...

Why don't you try re-flashing the first tune he gave you before you told him you had a tranny kit and see ahat happens.
