If I understand you question properly, ideal timing is neither linear nor exponential. It seems to be linear to a point, and then it flattens out.If you look at most timing maps, they increase...

The ECM file is on tunefiledepot.com. I have a T43 file I'll send to the web site. If you're in a hurry, PM me and I'll e-mail to you.
The short version-
DigitalEFI is the new US distributor for EFILive. Our contact information is listed on the Authorized Reseller tab of the EFILive company web site.
The long version-
For...
This thread sounds a lot like some of the political forums I've seen-- lots of people expressing their personal opinions and making personal attacks without knowing the facts. The only purpose that...
Sounds like a noble occupation- especially if you include wingnuts. The world has been in need of a wingnut sorter for many years.
It's obviously a case of lost bolts.
From your log, it's apparent that something is rotten in Denmark-- which isn't all that far from Germany. First issue-- O2 sensor voltage is consistently at zero. It should be around 450 mv which is...
When you switch to a custom operating system, you have to do a full reflash. Read the tutoria under the "Help" tab in the tuner-- it has everything you need to know. As for a 2.5-bar MAP sensor, I...
The Grand Prix controllers are not supported by EFILive. The question of adding support for them has been brought up several times and last I heard, there were no plans to do so, but that should be...
I have never owned anything by GM-produced vehicles because I find them more to my liking than those produced by other companies. Having said that, and having worked on them for many years, I can...
One problem a lot of tuners have is letting AFR stay extremely rich during closed throttle operation. Others completely ignore this part of the fuel curve. Either way, if you're dumping fuel while...
Looks like you did more than lean out the mixture. You also altered a number of timing tables. Since you're timing is jumping around like a politician being pressed to answer a question honestly,...
First of all, drilling the throttle plate is completely unnecessary. You've got electronic throttle control so you can do it all with programming. Work with throttle cracker and throttle follower to...
You're working with electronic throttle control, so IAC is irrelevant. The problem is most likely that your desired air flow numbers are too low. Play around with those. You can get an idea of what...
I bet you found it in amongst your lost bolts.
Installing 22" rims has about the same effect as changing ring and pinion ratio. EFILive has an automatic feature for altering the tables that are affected by a gear change. The first thing to do is...
This seems to be a legitimate LS2Edit issue. Every ECM I've come across that has been tuned with Edit has been locked-- by the software, not by the user. I don't use that junk, so I'm not sure if or...
Not to beat the proverbial dead horse, but there seems to be a lot of misunderstanding regarding injector flow rate values in different style systems. Whether or not a pressure regulator is...
I believe it's in the current publicly released version (Build 88). Go to
http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=124
and download the software. I'm almost...
Before you start tuning, download and save the stock file from your PCM. Then you can make whatever changes you think are appropriate, and if you screw something up, you can always reload the...
But it prevents excess amounts of soot from being deposited on the racing surface.
What happens if boost is changed during a run-- as with an adjustable boost controller in the cockpit?
I think you're using the wrong PID. I had the same problem with a umber of E38 and E67 processors. Switching to ETC Indicated Throttle Position eliminated the problem.
How are you going to control the trans? E67 has engine control capabilities only. If you're going to use an electronic trans, you'll need a trans controller. Depending on the trans, some controllers...
I don't know, seems to be that's reaching a bit. The fact that Joecar can figure out these tables doesn't necessarily imply he's sane. After all, like the rest of us, he spends entirely too much time...
