1) You enable the V2 unit with the license code that comes with it.

2) Connect your V1 and transfer the licenses

tunedbyGM, At this point you may just want to contact Innovate. Try the Innovate forum. If they even think you have a faulty unit they'll you have send it in they will replace it. quicker than spit....

Something I came accross while verifying my LC-1 Widebands.

The analog input coupler on V1 had a single shared ground (3 wires 1 ground). I noticed when I got V2 the couplers had 2 wires each...

There are a few places you can get the 12v source. I actually used a dedicated switched 12v connection, so maybe others can suggest an easier source.

It's possible it's faulty. Sometimes if the ground isn't good from the start you can burn the LC-1 out. But with these things if the ground isn't right they'll just won't want to work.

As folks are saying, with the LC-1's the most important thing is a good reliable ground. Run a wire directly to the engine block. That is the best ground.
