I'll see if I can run the tank empty and verify it at some point.
Full reflash didn't do anything, however I changed {F0507} to match what the my compare file was and my log showed 59% and my gas gauge is right at halfway. So even if it's backwards I'll know when...
Do I need to do a full reflash? Did a cal flash from v2 and the gauge still reads empty.
Thanks for the help!
Know it has nothing to do with the tune, but thought maybe there was an interface issue.
That's what happened in the first place. Need to change it back. But the 3 bar deal won't affect it?
Search didn't get anything, just wondering if it will brick the PCM if I even try. Not that it would be the end of the world, because then we can use a real COS.
Has anyone used the EFILIVE scan tool to change the VIN on a HPT 3 bar PCM? Asking for a friend...
I'll go through all that and verify it when I tune it. Not sure where I set it, I would assume 1.15.
Just making sure everything in the segment swap looked good. Thanks
I thought it was funny too, but I found a couple people said it needed to be done that way. Even found a thread today with a tune posted that was the same as I have said that's what he did. Oh well...
98 trans am, 0411 upgrade. I did the fuel segment swap, but I must have missed somewhere. The gauge is reading empty which I know isn't correct, the scan showed 100% which I don't believe is...
I adjusted a lot of things some got it better others made no difference. In the end cranking ve was all it took. Starts great cold or hot.
What should I be looking for? Should I log during cranking and see where it is and adjust those cells? At idle the ltfts even out to about -2% +-
I'll take a look when I get to my laptop.
It's weird it only does it warm/hot. It's like it tries to start first time then nothing, just turns over. I just find it awkward that adding a little...
They matched Joe, thanks. And the MAF pid worked as well.
Question I've done some changes to the idle tables and got it to idle really well, not surge or push on the converter.
But it has a...
I'll try that and compare the results. Probably better since it's s flec fuel car.
Think I got the calc.pid figured out
*CLC-00-445
factor 10.00 20.00 .1 "{EXT.WO2AFR1}/{E38.AFRATIO_DMA}
CALC.WO2BEN_E38 F445 CLC-00-445 factor ...
Here is a tune and a log I took of a suburban. I got part of the VVE better using the STFT but for some reason I don't know what PID(s) to log and/or if there is a BEN for it. I have BEN from...
Statuate of limitations expires after 2 years in California and 4 years in Nevada for breech of oral contract(only saying that because that is where I live) LOLOL
On 03+ Your pcm needs an IAC driver in it, and all you have to do is change it in the tune from DBW to DBC. LT1 swap lists what PCMs you can use.
As for how the info is sent to the dash on what...
As long as your pcm has both you can use both.
You could put it on a dyno and see where it makes power, even without knock retard you'll hit a point that adding timing does nothing for hp and could even start losing it. You'd be surprised how...
You have to physically enter the VIN # in and it changes it. But I don't think it does anything for o2 sensors or any other parameter for that matter. That's in the OS and whatever settings are in...
I'd like to know too.
I do know that I've had an 0411 out of a 4.3l olds bravada and another one from an 8.1l hd silverado and I rewrote the v6 pcm to an 01 fbody OS and the 8.1l to an 02 corvette...
