Hey mad, the timing seems real low at idle, are you running a distributer? Lots of efilive guru's on here so hopefully someone can help you out. Glad you have it running!

Hey mad, yes... i'm slowly getting it right..... I saw you had a thread, i'll check it out. Good luck man, tracy
Oh yes, i was working on WOT for most of the changes. I also had a bunch of trial and error on the idle tune, lol. I will keep my day job!
Sure, but no laughing....lol From a 1 - 10 scale, my idle went from a 1 (didn't idle at all) to a 6 (idles descent but could use some work). If you happen to see anything obvious that i need to...
I got it worked out pretty well. I basically followed the idle tips and it improved the idle greatly. No more dying!! BTW DrkPhx, i did add advance to the base spark and that improved things as...
oh yes, it is a custom twin deatschwerks 300+ pump system with return. The car is a twin turbo C5 corvette with a 408". I have been reading and working on the idle today and have made some...
I'm just starting on my idle tuning and noticed one thing right away while logging....my spark went from 25 to 3 and then died and i also noticed that my map is really high. The cam is 238/244 at...
My speedo is working. I'm assuming the computer uses the wheel sensor as the speed sensor. Just a guess.
Well, ready or not.... i did the swap. The good news is that is started...lol! I'm sure i will have to adjust things but it went really quick.
edit: it ran fine this morning and NO check...

Great info joe! That really doesn't sound too bad from my noob perspective. I listed both tunes, mine (listed as geoff tuner)and the donor. Thanks

hello taz, i'm slightly more familiar with efilive than i was a few months ago..... That being said, i would like to try a segment swap that you spoke of. My OS is 02030003 V3 according...
Joe, YOU FIXED MY CAR!!!! It runs awesome now in transition...! I'm so pumped. Thanks a bunch man!! tracy
Now efilive is starting to "click" for me....! Finally.... Thanks Joe!!
hey joe, all fields are 14.63 except for 95 and 100 kpa which are 13.81 and 12.50 respectively. So if i understand this correctly (i may be dead wrong), my non-boost fueling should attempt to follow...
oh, i guess i should have mentioned that this is an SD tune. Joe, you have been a huge help!! I'll update soon, thanks tracy

Wow, the original VE fueling (boost and non-boost) look so much better.... After i make changes, i obviously need to take a look at the graph to make sure there are no rifts/holes.... lol....
If i understand you correctly, you are speaking of the big changes in fueling around the "cross" on the table? I think i will just go back to my original ve fueling since i chopped this one all to...
Yes, that is a big spike alright.... I'm new to tuning, you are saying that my fueling table is goofed up or my AEM wideband is not accurate? Sorry if a stupid question I forgot to mention that...

Ok, i changed my valve springs so now back to the orignal problem. I logged the LTFT's today with the log included and i also included my latest tune. It missed pretty bad from...
i tried more fuel and it didn't seem to help. I pulled timing and it seem to get worse so i added it back. I think i have a valve float issue (seperate issue) over 5000 rpm's so i will tackle...
Hello guys, I have a miss while i'm accelerating....it is not one dead miss but multiple slight misses while i'm under light-medium throttle (not in boost). I have attached a log of it occuring a...
My buddy was right! The 105+ kpa on the boosted ve table was much leaner than the 105kpa on the non boosted ve table which caused a major lean issue on tip-in. Hopefully this will help some...
I was able to capture the stumble on my log. Excuse the length of log but it occurs at frame 7318 and 7519. I also have plenty useless PID's, i have not been able to find boost psi yet..... AFR's...
I run about 14 - 18 pounds on the street with pump gas/meth but i'm about to go race the car and hope to be in the mid 20's+ with C16. Great forum, thanks!
Ok, thanks!
