Looks like the PCM needs to see a crank sensor signal after a battery dis-connect/re-connect before it will report any DTCs. Even DTCs whose tests run without the engine running. I simulated a 600...

Yes. Same result with HPT and with multiple LS1B PCMs. I can wire up a throttle/pedal/TAC and cause the throttle to disable by doing something that would set a DTC. It will re-enable if I clear DTCs....

Read DTCs on LS1B bench setup?

Is there a way to read DTCs on a LS1B bench setup? I can trigger and clear(V7.5 only) unknown DTCs, but get no DTCs stored if I try to read them. Should be plenty of them on a bench setup.

    B1207 Range?

Troubleshooting a tune via email and noticed B1207 set to 256MPH. EFILive stated valid range is 0-256. All stock tunes I have looked at are set at 255. With the given range, this appears to be an 8...

There are differences in the TPS signal output ranges between the silver and gold blade throttle bodies. Firstly, the ECM expects a specific correlation between the 2 sensor signals. For both the...

Got it fired up. No DTCs now.

It was the X2 connector on the ECM. 3 of the 4 tabs that are required for the harness connector to suck down tight are broken off.

    L76 swap issues

DTCs P0107, P0118, P0122, P0223 can't be cleared. Seems that the ECM is not supplying 5V to the TPS, MAP and ECT sensors. Throttle is not active.

L76, 6L80E, BCM, shifter, pedal supposedly all...

Had the ID1000 injectors flow tested...looks like they didn't appreciate being cleaned. The automated test is a gradual ramp up.

Definitely multiple issues now. Many valves have thick carbon on their tops just as the pistons.

Lots of carbon/oil on many pistons as well. Not sure if deposits on injectors are from leaded race fuel. #3 injector is strangely clean. No rear O2s are present. Pistons 3, 7, 4 are pretty wet with...

I only changed B3330 to 7100 and set B2201 to "Disable". B3330 had no effect...didn't see how it would. B2201 is the one that makes a difference. But I would rather keep the ETC rev limiter if...

Did not bother to license another PCM today because the IBPW values were identical for a change. Only changes to the tune were some VE tweaks.
