hey guys well i was on dyno tuning the car and while I was flashing the computer turned off. It says that the PCm had no program so I did a full fash, I can read , write to the PCM but when I drive...
where can I find more info on COT
no i am refering to how people say that the LTFR will carry over to WOT if Positive, how do they determine that, by using this screen.
Or just by logging?
hey guys is this how u guys check that your ltft are accurate. I went into the logger and found this.
so then pretty much I have to be tuning 2 times a year.
how the hell is that, it should go richer cuz there is less air going into cyl? im so confused. send links so I can read againnnn cuz i am lost.
then when chanigng timing just change it on all valvues?
but the AFR will only change if the LTFR go positive....
Hey guys why does when I log different runs. Everything is prettu much the same and my timing map is hte same but some times it is on .72 and some on .76 on the gram/cyl. How is gram/cyl calculated....
but I though -LTFT do not carry over to WOT?
but that is initially when i go full Throtle or during the hole power band.
k thianks for this info. so Now everyone tried to get to 0 so they can get the fastest response avail. IE no bogging or sputtering ???
thannks for the help.
Ed
believe me I been searching but I read all those already :)...
Ok so if my car has -7LTFT then i am fine as long as it is not positive?
what are the advantage of having 0 LTFT over -7LTFT
Why do we care for LTFT if they are not used when the car is WOT from what I read on a post. Is this correct or am I just messing up..
From what I have aquired the LTFT are for Partial throttle...
hey guys. my car is bonneee stock. I dialed my PE to 12.8-12.9 at high rpm and 12.5 or so at peak TQ.
but I am doing any harm to my car by still having the cats on. Should I turn off Cat...
hey can someone tell me how I can adjust when PE turns on or off? is there a set RPM or is it by map. or could it be by both.
Thanks,
Ed
but as for right now since i am pretty much stock and I am trying to lean out to make a few more whp. then I could just adjust my pe to 12.5 and be done with it for now. right.
so since my car is pretty much stock my ltft should ne around 0 right ?? then I should just change my PE to about 12.6 or so and I should be good right. Also what will happen if I change
VE Main...
this is a good thread i learned quite a bit :) now I know why people do auto VE to keep the LTFT to 0 .
there are so many PE table wich one should I use PE based on rpm ?
thanks,
Ed
understood thanks for the info guys i am finally getting this. now I should adjust PE modified based on rpm correct?...
Well isen't PE adjusted by NB02 feedback? can someone explain to me how PE...
and Ill be using the main VE table correct ?
I did and checked and i show on the log 100 in map but when go into the main VE it shows map @30
wa is the deal?
correct :) finally , ok so now i need to change Main VE. now once I do this on the dyno will my a/f stay good or will there be some issues when temperature changes and stuff ? sorry I am asking so...
yah all i could find was for camaro :(... damit i guess gotta copy the stuff over :(
so then you are pretty much telling me that if I do not have a wideband to do auto Ve then this won't work..
if so that is BS.
you might might not be understanding what I am tryign to say.
