Is there somewhere I can go to find out how to do this? I see nothing in the tune software that mentions transmissions.
Is this even possible? I'm tuning a friend's 09 G8 with L76. It has the E38 controller and I noticed there are no tuning parameters for an automatic transmission. Am I missing something or it's not...

The Finke race looks like something I would enjoy. Don't know if I'll be able to swing it though due to our work schedules. At the moment it appears as if our plans might change. We're thinking that...
Thanks for the response guys. What would be the best time of year to travel the outback? That ozone hole sounds a little worrisome.

It's stock but I was able to extract an extra 30 HP using live.
Prayers go out to all those affected by the quake. Hope everyone here is OK.
Not to hijack the thread but, has anyone ever taken a motorbike outback excursion? A friend and I plan on doing this sometime around September and we we're wondering how safe it would be say , from...
I think I can help.
In the tune tool, go to "Help" and click on "FlashScan V1 PCM Licensing". Under "VIN License Counter", it should say you have 1 tune available. Below that you should see a tab...
Thanks Joe!
When tuning an A4 on a dyno, do you lock up the TC in third?
Sorry for a stupid question but, I've never tuned an auto before on a dyno so I need to know where to lock her up. TIA.
John
I was refering to a C6 Vette.
Happy belated birthday Paul!
I saw on Innovate's web site, they will upgrade you to their new LM-2 wideband data logger by letting you turn in your old one for crdeit.
Has anyone taken advantage of this? If so, how do you...
There is no fan 1 or 2. Just the one fan which is pulse width modulated to vary the speed (percentage).
I see. So I need to transpose the current temp figures for the ones above.
Cool. That was easy.
Thank you kind sir.
So I'm SOL I guess?
:help2: :help2: :help2:
Weird thing is, the first time I ever applied it, it worked. The two tunes following, does not reveal the lower temp tables.
I have no idea how to scale the fans for lower temps when I can't see...
When i apply the fan patch, i can't see any values below 192*F. Can someone please enlighten me as to what i'm doing wrong.
Thanks.
Cruising runs around 204, even during the cooler months. GM likes em hot!
I've experienced the same thing with my 07 Z06. It had a CAI and headers plus a ported TB. Monitoring the trims showed -10% on average. I was like, WTF? It was completely opposite on my 02 just as...
I set the tables back to stock for now. I'm wanting to keep the temps below 200* F. The LS7 gets crazy hot around town running 214-220, which IMO is a little too much.
And to answer my own...
I loaded my first tune in the 08 today. Not having a 180* thermostat yet, I decided to adjust the fans for 100% starting at 192*F. When I started the car the fans were at full tilt and the engine was...
Congrats on the great results!
Next up, CAI and a 160* Tstat! :hihi:
