I should be able to figure out what dtc's to turn off when they throw a code I guess. Has anyone removed the evap system on one of these?

I want to remove the egr and the rear 02's but I cant seem to find the info on what all needs to be turned off. Been awhile since I used efilive.

If I bought the v2 scan tool which is 400 can they be upgraded later so you can use it to tune? Just wonder cause I have no need to tune right now but would like the scanning option and to save some...

Have not checked the plugs yet but the coolant is fine and nothing is added to the fuel. Could it be from a bit of oil being sucked through the pcv?

Also my car ran much better with the rich VE tune I went back to my old tune last night and afr in wot is around 12.6 where the autoVE WOT was about 12.2 or so and ran much better. Why would that be?...

Heres the log frame 5783 is when I hit third kinda hard.

Is it possible then Joe that it would read trouble codes and clear them on say a 97 lumina? That is not even on the supported list but is OBDII.

My dad has a 98 silverado Z71 with the vortec 5.7 motor. I see that this is only supported by efilive v2. Can I still scan and read trouble codes with my V1 though?

I think he said the dist was off 180 and the crank sensor is on the outside of the timing cover so I think it is reading off the balancer. The motor is just like 5.7 vortec that would come in a 98...
