Er, where did my post go!
10 degrees
Short version!
Hi Gav,
I
I’m with you…..can’t figure it out :-(
Gav, if you get too close to zero then you’ll pop n bang on overrun (a giggle for a while ;-))
Jim
Hi Gav,
I’ll spark up my laptop later on and have a look at your tune file, throttle follower affects overrun (so cruise effect), you can also play with DFCO to affect engine braking.

You can view the data live that you are recording on the V2 device

Not strictly, but if you want to have both high and low spark tables enabled then Yes (which is a good idea).

Originally I bought a V1 and used one of the licenses on my car.
A while later I did the V2 upgrade and “transferred” all licenses.
I now have a V2 that will work on my car with a spare licence...

What blower are you using? Worst case is your boost should flat line, if it’s a Centri then it should climb with revs, so if you are not leaking then you’re slipping. Less restrictive exhaust will...
My immediate thought would be either find the boost leak or fix the belt slip - dropping boost as revs increase ain’t normal!
But yes, boost is heat
Jim
Martin,
That's an idiotic engine for that car......Well done sir :phatyo:
I've not looked at the tune yet (viewing on iPad currently), but your description sounds like PE is fine (hard...
Gav,
Full flash (and two step) no longer required, just make the amendments and then cal flash in the changes. Until you get happy/confidence do the cal flash then trundle along gently to check...

Your Spark tables are a bit higher than I would have expected, might be worth copying the Spark tables from the Z06 tune across to yours as a starting point, then go log (gently to start...
Gav,

Have a search on here for CAX files and B9021. I'm running an LS1 on COS3 and adjusted the pulse width down accordingly (in terms that I understand B9021 removes a hidden "mimimum" PW that you run...
I've had the Cam in for years, lovely lope to it and very good for N/A, probably all sorts of wrong now that I've got the blower on (too much overlap), but that's the joy in having a surfeit of power...
Same one ;-)
Jim
Gav,
Bucket loads of engine braking is available with a bit of tweaking, the cruise control feeling is TC or TF related normally.
Regards
Jim
Yes, OS and Cal. It's described well in the COS Tutorial as well.
Good luck (tune & storm!)

I'm not at home to can't check your tune now to see where it actually is, but mine is a lot happier running slightly rich at tickover.

It's the physical PCM that gets licensed so you will definitely need a new licence.

Translation = if you enter EQ of 1 then it will assume you want closed loop and trim accordingly - even if you don't have NB O2's fitted.... I forgot about that, once, unsurprisingly it ran like a...

Rich - There are a few of us in the UK :-) (Wokingham for me)
