It was the port settings in the road runner property settings. Virtual COM Port needs to be selected. I had the same issue years ago, but couldn't quite remember what the fix was. It's all good now....

Would you care to share what those settings were as I can't get it to recognise the roadrunner USB either. (New laptop as well)
Cheers Scotty.
GMH308, yeah she's a new one, It's not long off the show room floor.
It's very possible that I've grabbed the wrong pid, I was sure I had selected the ETCTP - ETC Indicated Throttle Position (...
Hi guys,
I think I've tried just about everything in this tune. I can't seem to get the throttle to show any more that 84% throttle.
I've just about disabled everything In the hope of reaching...
Steve you could use the 01290005 with a VY manual tune file. I can send you a tune file with the basic setting if you like. That should work.
Cheers Scotty.
It was on average about 109.4*F. I hope that sound hot to you guys because it was hot here.
Cheers Scotty.
I think it's all about making it more work for guy's like you Ross. It's just that bureaucratic world we live in.
Cheers Scotty.
^^^^^^spam^^^^^^^
I had a strange one on the Dyno yesterday.
After about an hour of tuning a VX with a few stumble and hiccups from the engine intermittently, there was all of a sudden a rev cut that wouldn't allow...
What were they thinking when they did the PE's. There must be some logic behind it.
Cheers Scotty.
Hi Ian,
There are a number of things that can cause timing to be pulled. Have you logged your Spark Pids to see where the culprit is.
I'm assuming you've toned things down with attack rates and...
Looks like the royals are rock'n now.
Cheers Scotty.
It's a fake, Don't trust him.
Cheers Scotty.
Dave, I had a VY in the other day that had the same problem you are talking about (running semi Open Loop Mafless).
Just a query, If you run it in full open loop does the stumble go away.
...
That sounds about right paul.
Cheers Scotty.
I was just going into the V2 licensing to add some more licenses to find I've been quite busy.
I've not quite been that busy.
Anyone else noticed this on their units.
Cheers Scotty.
I don't have a stock tune file to compare the tunes but from what i can see I think the injector rate is slightly out, I have 60lbs and the injector rate is pretty close to mine, your fuel pressure...
Sorry Slowhawk, I didn't mean it to come across in any other way but to try and help. It's good to see you have it sorted.
Cheers Scotty.
Well not really. The VE table should only be touched when in SD mode. It's a backup table as such.
The correct way to do a maf tune (although not many people do it) is to do an SD tune first by...
I'm assuming you have the WB02 sensor in your header to check the A/F at idle. Big cam and exhaust will give you an incorrect and lean reading if you are sampling it from the tail pipe due to exhaust...
That's not uncommon to happen in our industry of tuning. We (the tuners) quite often have to correct things that were done by others. It's the nature of the beast.
It's good to see you were able...
I would be inclined to smooth that out and have another crack at it.
You will need to be shore that it's not going into decel mode at that point. in-fact if it's still doing the same thing, just...
Do you have an image for us to have a look at.
Have you got the wide band in the tailpipe or somewhere in the system.
If you have it in the tailpipe and you are running a good free flowing...
Bob, always keep that fridge filled with beer...Cheers Scotty.
Paul, We all need a break once in a while including you.The efforts of yourself and Ross are quite often taken for granted.Keep up the great work. We appreciate it.Cheers Scotty.
