I believe it is just a matter of changing some programming in the BCM however we don't have tools to do that.

I converted a friends truck from 01 OS to an 02 DSP2 OS.

He is getting no starts as well as the classic oil life not resetting. He is also having trouble getting his fuel tank to read properly....

As long as you aren't sustaining 1400 degrees for any length of time you should be ok. You don't even want to know what I have put mine through.

About the only way you can reduce EGT's is to increase efficiency and/or boost. If you have an LLY you can increase the boost which will get your egt's down. You can play with timing...
