Forgot to mention .. I am using an 2002 OS
I just put the stock TC back in casue the TCC is fried on the Yank.. Anywho now the car slams into gear hard from Park to Drive. I assume this is a combantion of 1k idle speed and stock stall speed...
Update: Put the stock converter back in all is good..
Here are the docs that I have it is an 8MB package and contains the following..
hydra-matic.4l60-e.electronic.controls.pdf
4L60-E hydraulic schematic key.pdf
4L60-E hydraulic schematics.pdf...
Joe, you mention a stall being added.. You think not doing this could casue idle problems? I have some idling gremlins I cannot get out and I have a 4k stall and a CASE has never been prefomred that...
My car does the same thing.. I bumped up the desired airflow by 20% it cured the problem for like 2 days but now it is back.. Cold starts are fine.. I only exp this on warm starts.
I wanted to add a few degrees advance to help with surging when slowing down in traffic ..I was trying to figure out what part of the table I need to do that in.. So I figured if I watch where it is...
I am trying to create map for b5932 and the tune tool says the colums are Oz/Cylinder GM.DYNCYLAIR_DMA And the scan tools seems to be Grams/Cylinder.. Am I missing something here?? Becasue my map...
Well I have been driving around with my TCC pressure bumped to 1000 and there is still noticable slip there.. I am proablly battling a mechanical problem here.
OKay, just set d2903 and d2904 to 100% and d2901 and d2902 to 900. This definately gave a nice firm TCC engagement. When scanning you no longer see the TCC duty ramp up to 100% i just instantly goes...
Yeah basically. I will try bumping up everything and see what it does.. I just do not want to F%$# anything up.
Is there a way to turn this off via the PCM? For example if I bumped up D2903 and D2904 to 100% and set D2901 to the same value as D2902. Would that effectively turn off PWM? Seeing as now the tune...
Well I can command the TCC to lock via the scan tool and nothing happens.. I tried it while stopped and I guess if it engaged it would kill the motor, but it did not the RPMs stayed at a steady...
Brand new just re-built 1200 miles ago.
Here is some screen shots.. Forst is idle and second is cruising @ 50mph..
The other day I noticed that it felt like my TCC was slipping when commanded locked.. I looged some data and was wondering of anyone would confirm that the TCC slip RPM should be alot lower than it...
In d2903 and d2904 what does the KPa refer to? Is that manifold pressure?
What is the best way to go about upping my line pressure for the TCC lock? I have a 2002 OS.. I saw the tabels for for TCC PWM (D2904 and D2903) but not quite sure how to change them, or what exactly...
Can EFILive be used with this setup? It is the FAST dual WB02 unit they just put out..
Is that a GM publication? I would like to buy one if so.. Where did you get your copy?
Awsome Diagrams! Where did you get those?
I guess what I can do then is add about 25 to what my guage is reading. That will at least give me a ballpark estimate of true tranny temp
Intresting... Isn't the fluid in the pan just retunred from the cooler?
BTW: Guage is an Autometer short sweep electric.
Why such a big diffrence in the two. Which one should I believe?
Today I was using the scantool to monitor my trans temp and compare the reading to my aftermarket guage. My sending unit for the after market guage is in the daig port on the side. While crusing...
