I have been told that the BCM cant be flashed exactly, but I know that it has settings that are non volatile.
What would the vin change do for me?
After much fighting with my wideband I dont think I'm going to hook it up to the PCM the way I wanted it. That means I'll be an early adopter of FlashScan.

My complaint about the USB-only approach is that it generally consumes more CPU than RS232 on the laptop. I'm sure it will be a problem for my laptop, as of now I cant view the graphs in realtime...
I'd still rather have the new adapter, but I'll be using a similar technique to connect my LM-1 to a rear O2 input.
Just read on their mailing list that the next version of Innovates firmware will have the ability to output to 3rd party data loggers in real time!
I will ask Innovate about a real time output on the serial port.

It beats techedge on both price and features.
