Looking for EFILive V2 for personal use.
James:
No longer in market. Found GP on competitor.
Still available?
Got 06 with different os. Looks like they may cross and load according to EFILive document. Hopefully, someone else can advise.
Back from the dead! :) the Zeitronix system are just absolutely flat reliable. Even better with a serial cable.!!
Many thanks. In hindsight, my interpretation of OL has probably been wrong all along. I'll look for the thread on cold starting E38s>
Have I been wrong on this then? I ran car on dyno and logged info. When car went into OL, AFR was following PE Table values and both LT/STFTs went flat @ 0. Is there a different table in e38's...
Thanks for the quick response. I'll check it out when snows clears. :)>
Just curious but in regards to E38, if LT's impact PE when in OL, if trims are negative, is fuel pulled?
It's winter here and car is put away. I keep seeing debates and threads on a popular forum. I could be wrong but added trims to car going into OL just seems like something else skewing AFR in...
E38
Not sure if this is by plan or not. B8101 and B8102 show up when comparing files with differences in tables but not (B8101).:help2::help2::help2:
Merry Christmas to all!!
Ed:
Here's a bump. I just opened a 05 E40 file and cannot find stoich table either.
Merry Christmas to you!
I'll trade my knowledge for your knowledge. Straight up OK? I forgot a lot of my LS6 experiences and am very slowly getting up to date on the E38.
I would think that is a good reason. My cammed LS6 always idled better in OL!!
Joe: E38 starting to capture more of your attention? :)
Can't help you on injector changes.
I can tell you that the cam is causing your fuel smell issues. Unburnt fuel passing through the exhaust contains unburnt oxygen. Your 02's think car is lean...
Congrats. Nice gains. Did you try a leaner B3618 just out of curiosity?
BTW, I can't open attachment. :)
B3618: If MAF and VE tables are adjusted properly, this table will control final AFR. If MAF/VE tables are wrong your commanded fuel will not match your WB02. Yes to your question.
I believe...
Not sure what kind of fuel you are seeing but OL AFR 12.6:1 seems to work well maybe a little richer say 12.3, where I have mine. My car is 07 Z06 and made a bit more horsepower as high as 13:1. ...
Definitely going in the right direction. Big improvement between 1st and 2nd pass.
So if no code, MAF has to be disabled by pulling power? I thought your tutorial stressed disabling MAF by pulling yellow wire>
I don't know for sure but there seems to be a greater emphasis on disabling the MAF now than in the past. From my understanding, the MAF can still influence readings even with tables disabled.
I am attaching a modified (by me) tune. Load this tune up and do some logging. See if the 75 to 100and KPA values by rpm variances are reduced. Hopefully, they will come down from 15-20% to maybe...
Guessing 8102 was adjusted by mistake. I have a tweaked VVE table and B8101 changed by B8102 is as stock. I am clueless as well. Just trying to figure out why the VVE table could be that far...
