I could see a few tenths being the difference between tires but 4 mph? That's inches off. I will however measure it and see what I get. It's like it overshot it....when I'm at 60 my actual speed is...
little confused....my revs are correct for the 285/75/16 tire I have on there. It's just not correcting the speedo. What's the trick here to get it to read correctly?
Ok....I see when I highlight the final drive table it says the calc's don't work on the LBZ and LLY trucks. So I guess I have to figure out those revs/km and put them in manually?
Truck is an 06 duramax
I'm running v7.5 and can't get the speedo to do a fine tuning calibration. It shows the percent correction I need to do to H0101 but the pulses numbers don't show up and I...
Last year I flashed a turbo brake tune to the truck. Have been pretty satisfied with it but was wanting it to be a little more aggressive. Right now I have the desired vane tables at 90 and the max...
I think we're just at the point where someone else is going to have to take over.....all the soft lines have been replaced. It's just been a very frustrating experience. He had it at the dealership...
no lift pump, pickup is new stock replacement, and injectors/tune are all stock.
decided against doing this.....just not worth the risk of hurting his truck although I would like to know more about the limp parameters and how they tie in with the codes if anyone has the info I'd...
Still trying to work through a p0087 code on my friend's 06 vin 2. The entire fuel system has been replaced now and it's still setting the code and putting the truck into reduced power. Is there a...
we haven't really figured out what we're going to do yet....the test doesn't seem like something that's completely beyond me. I've just never done it and it seems pretty intimidating. I would love to...
just for the sake of perhaps helping someone else down the road I'll post up the info that I have on return testing. The dealerships wants $400-$500 to do this test....they quoted my buddy $100/hr...
do you know what the return rate is supposed to be? I've read conflicting amounts online. I think we're down to where we have to troubleshoot these. There's just not much else left to do. You test...
I guess where I have trouble with the fprv is if the pressure dropped and it limped the truck wouldn't there have been fuel in the bottle? Where else would it go if the fprv was bad?
I'm starting...
did it pass the bottle test? His dumped zero fuel. I just don't see how that fprv can be the culprit if it's not releasing fuel.
is there a way to test the cp3? Man.....I sure hope that isn't...
I'm going to bump this one more time because he's still having problems with it. He took the truck to a shop at one point and they replaced the cp3 and a couple of injectors. Issue went away for a...
sorry for digging up an old thread but my buddy has been having this code for quite some time so I'm trying to help him with it. He has an 06 vin 2 and has been getting this code on the stock tune...
thanks for your time and help.....been a pretty educational day here. :D I'm going to try both of those formulas just to see how different they are.
cool....this has been very educational. :D Where does the baro reading come from? I would first think the map but if the engine is running and the map is reading vacuum or boost it wouldn't be able...
so if you log it in kPa on the chart will the formula for psi still work without converting to psi?
I knew there was an easier way but I've always done it like that because some of the other tables like to have that map in kPa so it's just easier to log it in kPa and adjust it to psi with that...
I'm moving to diesel from gas and am just getting ready to start learning to tune my truck. All of my experience has been with gas so I'm just trying to get started more than anything else. I'm...
there is a default dashboard for the LBZ's....you can choose either imperial or metric. Go to File>open>open dashboard and look at the list there.
thanks for your help and the tips......as soon as you pointed out the caps in kPa I thought that was it but even if I would've had that right it was still in the wrong directory. :D I also saw you...
I got it.....don't want to tell you what was wrong though. :D It's the same as it always is....something simple and stupid that will cost me hours of frustration. I had the user config folder copied...
