Hi Guys,
I know some guys are doing titan tanks or modifying the dual-tank chassis cabs for single tank operation. Does anyone have .ctz files that define these out? I'm really surprised that...
Interesting. I just had this very thing happen to me today with both my desktop and my laptop - they have always worked before. I think I need to check the USB cable. But the V2 does work fine...
So far it seems that the only way the LMM ECM will learn the VATS passwords is with GM's Service Programming System "vehicle theft learn" process. The old manual way does not seem to be enabled,...
ECM's come without a software license agreement, therefore the legal loophole to read and modify those files? On the other hand, GM's TIS website has a software license agreement. So by locking...
Fuel injector flow-rate DTC's shouldn't cause a no-crank. Any VTD codes?
This just prompted me to check back and look at a T42 file I have from 2007 with xxTuners software, they do show separate WOT TCC tables from the standard TCC tables. Hmmm....
I'll give it a try, see what happens. The way it's acting there would seem to be a separate WOT TCC table/parameters hiding somewhere we can't get at them.
Thanks again!
Joel
Thanks Taz,
I've put these tables both up and down and it doesn't seem to change WOT lockup at all. It always locks around 130kms/hr, period.
Joel
Hi all,
Got a 2007 new-style truck, 4.8 turbo. TCC seems to lock at 130kms/hr no matter what I do with the tables. Any secrets?
Joel
Say the word. There are 3 here that I can read so far, and more arriving as time goes on. I know what I'll be doing on my coffee breaks! ;-)
Starting to see these things trickling into the dealership. I can start sending reads as soon as that becomes available!
All I can say is WOO HOO!
Waiting impatiently...
I can honestly say I never have touched those parameters to even know.
I had set B1502-B1506 to disable EGR function originally, and the tunes I had problems with; I additionally set B1501 to Disable. I had in mind to shut down the EGR cleaning cycle that occurs after...
Oh yeah! Looking to jump on this bandwagon! I have Cummins customers lined up already...
:cucumber:
Hoping it saves some grief. I've noticed in other forums that a few guys have been setting B1501 to 'disable'. In one post, the guy noted that his tune had a couple of glitches much like the...
Hi All!
Just spend the better part of a couple of weeks isolating a real hair-puller. This applies to trucks running OS 12628954, affects LMM's from 2007-2010 (verified)
Condition: Setting...
Well - it works this morning after doing the battery trick...
...wierd...
...but I won't let it keep me up at night!
The text behind the pop-up is just a repeated "Not ready - waiting one second for retry" message.
EFILive version 7.5.5 Build 88
Should be the most recent stable update - I'll check the build in the morning. I will also try removing battery power in the morning. Thanks.
Problem is that I only read it. I haven't locked it at all. Now it will not read or write the E38 at all, after I lisenced the ECM
Hi,
Read out a 2010 Camaro, made tuning changes. I licensed the ECM to my EFILive V2 and then tried to reflash, getting this error:
5994
Having a vague idea of what's involved, this would likely require a DPS5 OS re-write... but it is definitely a useful table. I'll add my vote here too.
Target vane postition is accessed on a delta TP event to provide an initial reference for the vanes. After a certain predefined delay to allow the turbo to respond, the ECM starts modulating the...
