"That new ‘8L90’ transmission, designed completely within GM, by a dedicated team, is a traditional hydraulic automatic—solenoids,...
I have the same Nelson harness & factory fan setup on my 05 1500 HD that I put on when it was new, using both ECM pins & the a/c wire as Chevy366 said. The only problem I've had with it in 9 years is...
It looks like the same 24270599 OS in my 2014 Silverado 6.2L as in the C7 Corvette...
I am waiting semi-patiently too. I have a couple of 2014 Silverado's and a 2014 Sierra Denali to do also & will need more license's when its ready. Thanks for all the good work you do.
Ron
Anyone here that would be willing and able to write-up the basics of the do's and don't's of how to tune the 6 speed auto T43?
Ron
You did mean that you put "0"s in all of the cam phaser timing table B5154 and not the cam phaser position tables B7934 thru B7937? If you put "0" in all of the phaser tables it would also not add...
Yes, I put "0" in all those first and then modified B7934 thru B7937 in the cam phasing tables by putting the same # that was in the rest of the rpm line across the whole line to eliminate the "EGR"...
I have done that in my 2007 Denali and then tuned it as you normally would. I also took out the "colored section" of the B7934 thru B7937 cam phasing tables by putting the same # across the whole...
I'm waiting semi-patiently on the T43 tuning enhancements also. Any time frame on them yet?
Steve, have you changed to 30# injectors as B4001 suggests? Just wondering.
Ron
I haven't tuned much in mine in that area to see what could be done. What have you tried so far?
Turning off T/C and Stabilitrac using the console switch should turn it off 100%. Or are you wanting it off all the time in the ECM?
Ron
Keny,
I have B5156 set to 8 deg and that is the lowest I have seen it retard down to, anytime. You might try a safe setting # and log to confirm.
Ron
I had the same problem with my Camaro shifting at 5600 RPM with the WOT RPM set factory set at 6000. I found the WOT Shift Speeds changed it. It was set at 28 MPH stock and 31 made it shift at 6000,...
The stock VVT tables have a lot of cam retard at light throttle that might do that. That can't be good for performance.
By zeroing out the tables, do you mean making them all zero? Or just taking...
Ok, I think I understand.
Thank you all for the education I continue to receive here at "EFILive U."
Ron
I just ran across this on another forum posted by a business offering undetectable tuning for the new Camaro. I wasn't sure about posting all of it but this part I haven't seen posted anywhere.

Ok, thanks for the info.
That's why I worked up the low oct. table to have no KR on 87 so it shouldn't go below that in "theory". Is that correct thinking or am I off somewhere? It seems to work ok so far but we'll see....
Mine is the 12633056 OS. Does anyone have a file of any of the others? Do the manuals have different OS's? I guess no one has a "late" OS file?
I kept the hi/lo tables the same when I was...
Within what time frame does this happen? Same heat cycle or over a longer time?
I just noticed the Octane Scalar pid in the scanner but I have never logged it. It should tell you where it's at...
Do you know what resets the scalar normally in the E38's? Fuel refill, restarts, so many heat cycles, etc?
I have seen where some have pulled the ECM fuses #5 & 20 to reset it and have had good results. What would be reset in the ECM to do that? Octane scalar? LTFT's? Anything else that would do this?

I increased B1977 Knock Learn Min Voltage from 50 to 90. I eased up 10 at a time to that point for my applications. BUT do so at your own risk (disclaimer). It worked for me.
Anyone know of a...
That sounds like it could be false KR. The Gen 4 seems to be prone to it. Quite a bit of info out there about decreasing sensitivity of the knock sensors, especially on the E38.
