I agree, but again, that is not the problem I am having.

I am not disputing that. However, it seems like an incorrect way to do it. I would think you would want the calculated torque amount to be correct.
In any event, this is not the issue I am having...
I had not looked at the thread, but it is not applicable. That talks about getting the ECM to report the correct torque numbers when not using a MAF so that a 6 speed transmission / T43 will shift...
I am working this hard. Some things I have found is that GM.SEMRET starts to come in as TRQENG_C approaches 500 ft-lbs. And it keeps pulling timing to keep it at 500 ft-lbs. UNTIL PE kicks in, and...
Did you ever resolve this?
I still haven't figured this out. I am still getting GM.SEMRET even though all forms of TCS are shut off. And it is clearly not during a shift. It just seems that as I roll into the throttle, once I...
This a problem for me now too!
Comments and updates:
- agreed on C0805. I didn't realize that was grams/sec, I looked at it quickly when I changed it thinking it was percentage. I changed that to 512 grams/sec. This made no...
Hi,
I am tuning an E38. The base vehicle is a 2009 Tahoe with a 5.3 and 4L60 (it is a PPV). We took the 5.3 out and put a 6.0 L96 in. The 6.0 has a supercharger on it with the smallest pulley...
I am feeling a little dopey asking this, but on the LS1B I would frequently use the DVT to hold timing at a particular number. Is this not available in the e38?
Hi,
I am working on a 2010 Camaro SS with an E38. Engine is not stock, it is a GMPP LS3/525 crate motor. My questions are really centering around idle.
I have a good feel for how to tune the...
Can you send me the tune?
I've a CTS-v pushing 16 lbs of boost with no issue, and I didn't disconnect the solenoid. I'd recommend against that, anyway, thats a hacky way of doing it. Send me your tune, I'll have a look.
Does anyone have a stock ZR-1 tune they could share?
Thanks.
Maybe there is an actual physical problem with the TC.
Long story short: it should be doing this. What I discovered is that part of the GM strategy on TCC Lock is to allow a very minute amount of slip. This is normal. If you are running a stock TCC,...
Hello,
I am tuning a 2010 GMC Yukon XL 2500. It comes with a L96, which is a 6.0L iron block, aluminum heads, with VVT but no DOD. It has a MagnaCharger TVSS 1900 on it with an intercooler.
...
Maybe I am missing something, but hopefully I can be set straight.
Say one is tuning an L92, which has cam phasing (VVE). According to EFILive, "Variable camshaft positioning is not currently...
I am logging an E38/T42 combo, working on shift points. I am logging four PIDs:
PCM, TAC_PCT
PCM, ETCTP
PCM, APP
TCM, ACCEP
Does anyone have a clue as to which one is used by the TCM to...
I was there also.
Too bad it was raining.

Anyway, I bought one, picked it up last week. It seems to me that the CTS-V's at Monticello were detuned.
There is no wheel slippage, no blinking light on the dash to indicate that. And, this will often happen at part throttle as well.
There is no TM on upshift or anywhere else. I will post the tunes...
Attached. Agreed on Sled Hauler!
Notes:
Frame 0 through about 1000 have three acceleration runs showing the same exact issues (fluttering of ETC while APP is stable). Most notable is around...
I've been doing some scanning/debugging of a recent supercharger install on a L76 (08 Suburban). I've got one question, and one thing that is just flat out stumping me.
First, what is the...
This is the same in HPT. I believe this is correct.
Has there been any updates on this? Looking to get more from a 8.1 myself.
