Nevermind, found something that will work

A nice latching RPM Window Switch that I can specify the trigger points and the hysteresis.

Whats your take on disabling the compressor at higher engine RPMs?
What you said is has been my backup plan with a little addition. Maybe you arent saying this (or I can't read), but how does your compressor know when to stop? IE when the pressure is too high?

I've been using EFILive with great success on my 93 RX7 + 06 GTO LS2 swap, but its getting a little toasty here in Texas and I want to get the AC up and running.
I've hit a snag though. The GTO...
I am 99.9999% positive that all E40 PCMs used 24x reluctors. The most common place I see the rumor of a 58x reluctor is on the GTO forums....
So, a friend wants to buy me another license so I can tune / turn off all DTC codes on his engine. I told him it was $100. Now, if he eventually wants to buy EFILive for himself is there a way for...
Nevermind Ross, I used a 12V 10kohm pullup resistor and it worked.

Ross, I have the same problem (LS2 swapped RX7) only with the 06 GTO PCM (E40). The E40 tune file doesnt even have the pullup option, but it does have Crank (default), PWM, and Serial tach output...
WOOOHOOOO... ITs RUNNING!!!
Got her fired up last night. That connector was the problem. It should be
Red - 12V switched (ign 1)
Light Green - 12V switched (ign 1)
Dark Green - ground...
Nope, Im a jackass :) Or GM is, either way works.
In the GTO they ran the power for the ignitors through a connector up by the MAF. I didnt look the GTO over thoroughly and I just dismissed that...
I will check the RPMs during cranking when I get home.
I also think its VATS, but someone said that it only disables fuel not spark (at least on the older LS1s)
I checked, both the crank and cam position sensors are plugged in and I drove the GTO before I pulled the motor so I know the sensors work.
Wouldnt the PCM throw a code if either of those sensors...
A friend thinks it may be an unplugged crank position sensor. Would that be possible without the PCM throwing a code?
I did exactly that. No luck. I also checked and its definitely not sparking. Here are the codes and tables I have:
P0443 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Purge Solenoid Control Circuit...
I transplanted the LS2 into a 1993 Mazda RX7 so lots of stuff is missing (VATS, ABS, BCM, etc).
The engine wont start. I get fuel pressure, the throttle works, and I can communicate with the PCM....
