Just trying to figure out if I can get boost and Flex fueling from a P01 PCM...
Yep, missed that.
Thanks!
You're right about OS 12216125, I forgot. So, I remember seeing a Sloppy Mechanics PCM video listing the capabilities of the P01 and P59. I thought you could get 2bar boost and flex fuel capability...
I can save the calc_pids file with ONLY the MPG PID and Scan Tool works fine but, when I try to merge the two I get the error "Units MPG not found."
Wondering if you can tell what I'm doing wrong....
Ok, so I found a '02 Yukon P01 tune with Flex Fuel active (OS 12216125). I think the steps are:
1. Full flash COS3
2. Flash calibrations-only from the Yukon tune.
3. Read the tune
4. Run script...

I've heard it is possible to have flex fuel functionality with COS3 in a P01/512KB PCM. If so, how do you go about it?
I found a P59 cax file with more tables (B3106, B7000 ++) added but not the...
Found some tunes...

Good question. Just looking for a LS1 file with lean cruise tables populated
Thanks
Anyone have a Holden stock tune file with the lean cruise tables populated?
Idiot here. Wrong units.
I found the Lean Cruise cax file and added to "calibrations"
DYNCYLAIR values are the same after a software update and for every reference file I've opened with LC in the Engine Calibrations...
LS1B - OS 12212156
Any idea why the DYNCYLAIR values are so low?
How can I get the cax file to enable LC?
Did crank relearn and haven't had it pop up again... yet.
Thanks Joe,
Got some help on this from nonnieselman.
My OS is 12212156.
I've seen cax files in the file structure, what are they?
Anyone know how to patch OS (LS1B) to stop 4L80E TCC release at idle?
Great post
Very interested in putting a 6L80 in my 6.0L Yukon.
Thanks Road.
I do detect intermittent stumbles at idle (and visual "rocking" of engine) outside of what I consider normal "cam" idle characteristics/rhythm and there is an exhaust smell that I'm not...
Forgot about the idle airflow - it seems really high, (SAE.MAF) around 12 g/s IIRC
Convinced it must be a vacuum leak – multiple smoke tests, some minor leaks around TB shaft, etc. fixed and, no change. In fact, I think it is getting worse; sets the P0300 code sooner/more often.
...
Fix was programming B4522 Stall Saver RPM back to stock-like buffer between desired idle and stall saver RPM. Apparently inadvertent activation of stall saver will shut off A/C compressor?
Running dual fans with Nelson harness in 2000 Yukon XL (12212156 OS)
G1203 set to "Series Parallel Fans"
G0106 set to "Fan #2 Control"
Fan settings from 2005 truck
OK, so I thought I did but apparently not the same as the desktop. The calc_pids.txt file in the laptop folder was copied from the Calc.VET: correcting MAF and calculating VE (in single log) sticky...
Referring to V7.
I have latest version of both (V7.5.25 for example)
Just can't figure out why some PIDS are missing.
First pic is the PC: In the "System" column you can see the "Tuning" PIDs. As...
Thanks for the reply,
Looking for CALC.WO2BEN, CALC.VET, etc.
Followed the "Calc.VET: correcting MAF and calculating VE (in single log)" sticky and PIDS look good on desktop but missing the PIDS...
