A proper file that has the specific o.s. segments for your truck will allow everything to function properly. I'd ditch that junk in a hurry and purchase a file with the correct segments for your truck

Seems like in that case you should check your can messages and make sure they're all dealt with properly
I've seen the same issue. Most reasonable thing to do is to check the truck for those features and disable dtc's accordingly. At least that's what I've had to do.
Which o.s. are you guys using?
yeah doesn't seem to be an easy way to do anything on these trucks lol I've experienced similar issues with vane pos but haven't had time to mess around till it was perfect
Where did that tune come from?
Well does it work? Does the tune do what you want it to?
Well I'll use the words that someone once told me, you have to know what you want out of the tune before you can really achieve desired results. So what do you want?? I see a tune that was started...
Are you trying to select the whole timing sub-folder? Or the individual timing tables?
What exactly did you change other than the altitude tables?
I've had 0 issues with older files.
What mods are on your truck?
Well the vanes need to be either 100% (fully closed) or 0% (fully open) So how can you ask for 100% when the limiters are still at stock?
You need to lift the limiters on tables B2222-2224. That's the first thing I noticed. Go out and data-log vane pos and see if it follows what you're commanding. Id also forget about the "brake" being...
Has he data-logged that file? Is it doing what he wants? Imo the timing's pretty aggressive and I'd make some changes to accelerator to desired fuel tables to make sure it carries full fuel all the...
I've had this issue on a few trucks now, it worked with the first pre-release but now that I've updated to 2.07.52 (firmware) 2.07.06 (boot block) Software is build 237 (v8)and v7 build 245. I'm...
You still having this issue?
Read the csp5 upgrade tutorial, It'll help quite a bit
Has anyone else had trouble with csp files hanging while opening? Im running the NOV, 7th release and havent had trouble with anything except csp files. You can create a file and modify it ok, but...
So currently the only way to switch csp is with a v2 or a socal switch (that will need to be updated at the next software release)?
Has anyone been able to do switching with an autocal yet? Or is this just for v2's right now? The tutorial says that it works for both. I cannot seem to find any other info on this.
Does anyone happen to have a good clean file for a cab & chassis they'd be willing to pass along? I dont have the O.S. yet so I honestly dont know if its even that much different from a pickup. All I...
Well Im happy to say that it works. We ended up reprogramming his vin to an 02 and used the 4441 o.s. Thanks everyone!
Ok, well it tries to connect but will only verifies the first segment of the vin (1GCHK) and then stops.
I'm going to attempt to change a vin number on an e54 LB7. I was wondering if this can be done via passthrough with the v7.5 scan tool via bi-directional controls?? Has anyone tried this before?
