My friend purchased a used car and got the V1 that was used to program it. He has a V2 and we were wondering if there is still an option to move the licenses from the V1 to the V2. If I remember this...
I have a semi-colon at the end of each entry.
[AEM.AD4AFR]
0=|-- AEM.AEMAD4AFR
1=|return pid("AD4")*2.3750+7.3125;
Yes! :exactly:
2014 E92
I don't know if this is what you are trying to accomplish, but I just built this in V8. :unsure:
If not totally disregard.
i get the above Access Violation whenever I look at Calculated PIDs in V8 Scan & Tune Tool. I can look at the first PID okay,but the second PID (even if it is the same as the first) causes the...
Here's a log I just took.
Yes. It wasn't supported (X through PID) because the CALC.DAT PID wasn't selected. So when you select it, it's supported (no X).
When I went into the 'Scan' Tool it didn't like the CALC.DAT PID. I changed CALC.DAT.C TO SAE.IAT.C AND CALC.DAT.F TO SAE.IAT.F and then I was able to select the PID. I was just wondering if that is...
I've downloaded the PID file and will try to get some logs for you in the next couple of days.
Thanks!
All fixed. It looks like the VIN got messed up. After putting the VIN back in with V7 Scan tool, it validated and saved the file. :grin:
No I didn't. It's been a while since I did a validate PIDs, but I don't remember ever having to do that. The Scan tool saved the .vml & .vpl files.
I tried to validate PIDS today on my friends 2015 Camaro SS (E38 ECM). After connecting to the car with V7 build 303 (using V2 in pass-thru) I validated PIDs and everything seemed to work correctly,...
I'm willing to help, have an E92. :)
It goes in: 'My Documents/EFILive/V7.5/User Configuration/calc_pids.txt' file.
I made the change you suggested and will check the Units in the Map
Thanks again for your help!
You should also change B8102 and B8103 if you are using 2 bar or 3 bar Map. I also created a MAP for the SCAN TOOL to track changes.
I sent some files, calculated PIDs, Maps, etc. to Joecar. He's suppose to look at them and let me know if I'm on the right track or not. I'll let you know when I hear from him.
Try GM.TPDES
What did you post and where ???
Updates ???
DMA PID links defined in E39_Link.ini are incorrect, also.
I just read this post and looked into the "E92_Link.ini" file and found several instances of "GM.E92.APCYL_DMA". I think they should be "E92.APCYL_DMA".
P.S. None of the DMA Pids for E92 OS...
When I go to V8, Scan & Tune, Tools, Update, all my old .ctz files show they need to be updated. I updated them recently and there is no mention of having to update in the current 'Whats New'. Do...
I'm having a problem with Scan & Tune BBX. I change properties from Metric to Imperial and names from ECT to Coolant,etc. and save the file as options.txt. When I reopen Scan & Tune and look at the...
